Aamir and Aishwarya call it truce

Aamir Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have declared truce to their six year long cold..

2011 certainly seems to be setting itself up as a year for peace making!

There was news of SRK and Farah patching up earlier...now, buzz has it, that Aamir Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have declared truce to their six year long cold war. Apparently, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's tenth wedding anniversary celebrations have played the medium for the two actors to finally sort out their differences.

It all started when Aishwarya opted out of Mangal Pandey (2005) at the last minute setting a rift between Aamir and herself. Later on, Rani Mukerji did step into the shoes, saving grace, as she went on to play Aishwarya's role, but dear Mister Perfectionist was far from forgetting being ditched at the hands of the beauty queen. And so the equation had remained strained all of these years.

However, they finally patched up, and in fact ended spending a lot of time together at Akshay and Twinkle's wedding anniversary party few days ago. Aishwarya who is always in a rush to leave a party, chose to stay back after hearing Aamir was soon to arrive with wife Kiran Rao. Once he made appearance, both actors warmed up to each other with such ease, which could have easily belied their past differences. Thus, finally calling ceasefire to their lasting silent feud.

Post the long due exchange finally happening, Aamir made to leave, and guess who followed his suit, excusing herself next? Yes, it was the Bachchan bahu making an exit for the door right after him.

Now that the duo has settled their issues, we sure hope to see the two big celebrities share screen space sometime soon!
