A Double treat for Himani Shivpuri

Veteran tv and film actress Himani Shivpuri is all set to enter Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni ,she will play a Mirasiyan Bhand (a head of a troupe) in this Star Plus daily. Speaking on her character, Himani says, "Mausi is a strong colorful lady with a rustic touch." So how will you fit into the picture? "I will bump into a pregnant and homeless Sudha who is on the verge of committing suicide. The interesting part is that she helps Sudha face life, but in a matter of fact way. There is no mothering and sweet talk. Infact she tells her, that if you want to die, go ahead. As it happens with most serials, here too all characters are somewhere interlinked. Mausi will act as the bridge between Sudha and her mother", said Himani.

Besides Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Himani is also entering SET's Amber Dhara. "Yes, but this role is completely different from Mausi", says the actress . "Here I play a sweet and positive old lady. Amber Dhara look upon Akshat's beeji as their own. And she too dotes on the twins and will take care of them during their Mumbai stay." Himani goes on, "Unlike others, Beeji does not consider them as freaks, but rather as very talented girls who will go places".
