A Dangal REMAKE Is In The Works for Television; THIS Actor To Reprise Aamir's Role!

Aamir Khan starrer 2016's superhit movie Dangal undoubtedly was one of the most impactful films of that year and was hugely loved by viewers. Well, now we hear that Contiloe Pictures' is all set to bring a TV serial with similar story-line on Colors.

The show is titled Kesari and shall mark the journey of a father who wants his daughter to become a wrestler. Alike Dangal, the show too will have a Haryanavi backdrop but will have a lone female protagonist. The story will focus on the father-daughter bond and how he grooms her to become a successful wrestler.

Well, Dangal was a big and difficult project and only Aamir Khan could've done justice to that role. Now that it is being made on TV, the big question is who will reprise Aamir's role in the show? Don't worry folks, the casting has been done!

Apparently talented actor Manav Gohil who currently essays the role of King Kishnadevaraya in SAB TV's Tenali Rama has been finalized to play the part.

Not just that, according to media reports, actor Ankit Arora who has been part of many shows like Prithvi Vallabh, Ramayan, Badho Bahu and Chakravarti Ashok Samrat to name a few also has been approached to play an important character in the show.
