Sushmita Sen completes 21years of receiving the Miss Universe Crown

People believe what you do and not what you promise to do. So is the case with beauty queen Sushmita Sen, who not only made her parents proud but as well took India's name to a higher altitude.

At the age of 18, when youngsters are high on the spirits of adulthood and are busy exploring the world, this talented girl toiled hard and achieved something that any other girl of her age won't even think of doing. She became the first Indian to achieve the Miss Universe Crown.

From then on, she didn't let anything shatter her focus and went on to achieve success in every venture. Be it Tollywood or Bollywood, she engraved her name on every work she undertook.

Today is the 21st anniversary after Sushmita received her crown, and even after these long years our lady shows no signs of ageing.

In the year 2000 our charming girl made another history by adopting a baby named Renee. Even though she was rejected by the society for being incapable of acquiring the guardianship of the baby, she still stood firm by her decision and secured the custody.

On 13th Jan, 2010 she again adopted a three-month-old girl and named her Alisah. Being a single mother to two adorable daughters she has proved that nothing is impossible. If we set our mind on something nothing can stop us from achieving it.

We wish our diligent lady a very Happy 21st Miss Universe Anniversary and wish her all the love and luck.
