^/Jeete Hain Jiske Liiye^/ is by far the most intense and emotionally heartrending tale (for an Indian drama series) of a mother (Anjali) who faces for over two decades the worst test that a mother can face and yet does not lose hope.... and yet tries defying destiny by striving to claim her children and fight for them after being kept away from nurturing them during their growing years....
The biggest defining challenge for the protagonist in the story is to reconnect with her children who have grown up believing the lie that their mother died 20 years ago. Her children have been kept away from everything about her identity.
The show has huge universal emotional connect unarguably because it is essentially a mother’s tale to reconnect with her children, and also protect them from any harm. There is also a thriller & component in terms of Maria’s pursuit for the real killer.
