What would have easily been a controversial topic turned out to be an extremely loved show. Barrister Babu revolves around the story of Bondita and Anirudh. Set in the pre-independence era, Anirudh takes the bold step of marrying a little girl in the form of Bondita but that is in order to make sure that the latter isn’t subjected to the orthodox norms and furthermore so that he can help her study and achieve her dreams. But the road is obviously not easy where her then-loving sister Sampoorna has now turned vengeful, and she is gradually struggling to come terms with her own self as she hit puberty. Bondita is growing up and as a new grown-up Bondita enters, we cannot wait to see what challenges wait her up next.
