Prediction
So its not a rebound, its a pretend relationship.. I think Aliya gets the hint that Malvika is insecure of hers and Ishaans friendship and decides that the only alternative to all her problems is cutting off with Ishaan. So she starts avoiding him and makes excuses to avoid being with him.. Ishaan goes crazy -- and tries demanding the reason she is avoiding him. Surprised to see Ishaan's emotions so out of control, Aliya asks Veer for help to be in a pretend relationship..

You know when the promos of Veer entry were on, I thought that Veer and Aliya would start off a pretend relationship because I thought it would take a Main hoon naa track where Veer has to protect Aliya and they cannot disclose the reasons and secondly for Aliya to keep a distance from Ishaan..I had thought thereafter Ishaan would realize his love for Aliya and Malvika and Veer would hit off..
But I hadnt counted on the Veer Aliya chemistry or the way it is portrayed as if Veer actually loves Aliya .. In fact I hadnt counted on the Veer Aliya scenes.. (or that I would like them) .. so after the last episodes I thought Aliya would be in a rebound..
I really dont want a love triangle between Aliya Ishaan and Veer.. cant see ishaan or veer get hurt
