OMG! This is shattering. I used to watch this show regularly. Am so so heart broken!! I thought it would be a shift, but they are asked to wrap up! Man this show just began!
The story just began... Am sad that pritam didn't get his due.... Its all about that rotten shakuja family all the time! I gotta admit they wasted a lot of episodes on that rotten family
while they kept pritam wrapped for later. Even Pritam 's entry was way to late in the show... His job profile reveal also was v late... Now his part of the story will be rushed. Am so sad 😔!
@bp - Hahaha, only today I wrote a really long post on how the "family drama" was really "important" for the show in the thread:
https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/zindagi-mere-ghar-aana/5270596/show-going-off-air-from-3rd-jan-confirmed?pn=3
- Anyhow everyone has their own guess.
@bg - Agreed and that is simply because Pritam is the "ML" and not the "FL" of the show.
- In ITV, the FLs receive "extra importance, weightage and footage".
- Frankly, there wasn't unnecessary "family drama" as much as there was a lot of "unnecessary Amrita drama":
"Amrita constanty whining about her loss as if she was the only person in the world who lost her loved one, her flashbacks, her completely despicable superior attitude towards Pritam and and worst of all her most annoying ott nosing into Pritam's private life."
- The CVs could have easily cut that crap and "Kabir-Meera" crap and "focused" on other "good" things.
- The Sakhujas got that much "footage" mainly because they're related to Amrita and to a certain extent even Angad-Kabir because they're parallel leads.
- The CVs wanted all of us to"empathize" more with Amrita through Sakhujas.
- To be very honest, even after the CVs tried so hard, I really "hated" Amrita's character.
- And instead of "focusing" too much on her they could have atleast made "Pritam's entry earlier" and focused on his "backstory with Vishakha and Rahul".
@bb - True that, again, it happened mainly because Pritam is the "ML". They could have easily focused on his "backstory" post his professional revelation.
- Yet again they were giving more "importance" to Amrita and her "annoying ott dialogues".
@by - Frankly, I know I am not a "big writer" or anything yet being a "writer" myself, I personally feel that "drag" of Pritam's profession was "necessary".
- I mean if you see the episodes preceding that, "Pritam's professional character sketch" was very "well-built" by the CVs and for that I really do "appreciate" them.
- Imo, Pritam was the best "character" in the whole show even though he was not given as much "importance, weightage and footage" as Amrita.
