The logic behind Mohit's volte-face

I thought about it a lot last night. So much infact that my head ached and after I took a painkiller (I really did) Mohit's act made sense. In my compassionate state I want to share the findings with those who might be reaching for a painkiller. Here's the thing girls..

Mohit is lazy.He wants to be rich without working.His family believes in hard work.

He trusts Shauriya's cleverness more than his sister's hardwork. There was a very good chance Shauirya will win the contest by hook or crook and if he wins, Mohit doesn't get the prize money MehRya offered earlier.It was smart of SK to take Nikki with him to kinda show Mohit, "Look your sis can't beat this thieving international Chef".

In his extreme greed he forgot to see why Shauirya gave him more than the prize money for the win.

Mohit chose the path of least work and took the cheque and sprinkled some salt and walked away feeling proud.

This made sense in my drug induced state y'day, 😆 Let me know whetehr it makes any sense

Simmy, this definitely makes sense to Mohit - To him what if he lost the competition - either coz of Nikita or due to Shaurya's smartness - whatever the reason he will not get a penny in hand. Also, the bribe for his loss was 25% more than the actual prize money...

I mehak win the whole sharmas family win and mohit have to share the money with all and he can't claim right over it because it's some what called mehak money,

If he take money from Shaurya, his pride family never touch it or claim a right over it, the 1.25 belong to him only.

Mehak lost both the brother and her husband because of his mahapan

Thabs and Patsy- I guess, Mohit lost his bravado after first round. He knew he couldn't win against a veggie chor, so instead of ending up with nothing he got more than the prize money.

He basically lost confidence in Mehak and he has neither the patience nor the brains to run a chain of hotels.

Ther's the symbolism of him falling into the dirt and the Sharmas cleaning him up as SK laughed.
I guess he'll give the money back after the massive emotional blackmailing by the family and blame SK as he did for his marriage.

Shaurya indirectly is Mohit's role model, he is learning the tricks of the trade like manuplating & abusing the very people who love you with cold sharp accuracy of a bullet,infantile inability to accept the truth or defeat, not even caring for the bleeding heart that beats for them in their pursuit of success, the only difference, where Shaurya is self made selfish self-centred ambitious writes his own script, Mohit is good for nothing selfish,with no talent ,lazy who totally depends on others 😕

if u recall the Delhi Haat epi, where Shauriya physically enter the shramas' life, Mohit was enamored of his larger than life cutouts and Mehak knocked it down when she fell. That kinda set the tone for their equation with him.

SK is unapologetic and owns up his acts, Mohit hasn't reached taht stage of taking responsibility.
