First off I am going to give a huge thumbs up to Vedika and her post that is expressing so much truth as to the current state of things with this show👏. Everything mentioned in it, the initial post and the follow up commentary in absolutely on point and truthfully this post could have been a response to it. However in the name of forum activity, I am making a seperate thread just to ramble a little. I am pretty sure this is my second for the week, which I feel is indicitive of the plight of so many fans and the wear and tear on the loyal viewer that has us eventually tuning out.
The first time I missed the show was Friday December 1. I was catching an early morning flight the next day and stayed in the office to finish up some work. It was a practical decision spurred by the fact that chances were that I would catch the repeat at crazy o'clock in the morning as I knew I would probably still be up packing. I was and I did, so alls well that ends well I guess.
Last night though after a week of forcing myself to even watch the show, I prepared to do the same. I even watched that very strange new show (IMO so no offence😉) about the village boy and that modern girl in anticipation of my ZKM.
Well I didnt even see an opening scene: whether it be the fact that I was suffering from sheer exhaustion, or just that my brain had finally rejected the affront to it in the nonsense we are suffering through I fell asleep. For exactly 30 minutes. When I opened my eyes that Piya...show had just started. And then I stayed up until my usual bedtime...weird right?
Now I know that we are all spoiled rotten with our daily LU (love you shamz😉) which especially for me allows the choice to view or not later. The fact is that I have never been detered from watching the show. I guess my psyche just couldnt cope last night, but the sad thing is that when I woke it didnt even matter much that I had missed it at all.
As an international viewer I dont count for trps, but its sadly ironic that in what should be a pivitol point in the show...their shaadi at last, I am the least bit concerned. And this is coming from someone who was in a quandry over how she would cope without ZKM on vacation a few months ago😕
My rambling is basically saying I get it, I finally am understanding the mindset that had so many ( well those who havent disappeared for their studies that is) of the original forum posters going awol. It has become so easy to become disenchanted with what the show has become. Obviously I am a slow learner as until recently I have lived with the hopes that it will get better. Now I have no clue how ST et al are going to get themselves out of the hole they have dug...they have ruined this show imo...
When you are more vested in the ff on the forum because you get glimpses of what the show could have been, its pretty sad. But that's it: that where i am now...at the point where missing the show doesnt feel as big of a deal as it once did...
I dont know whether to be sad or just pissed off over it..
Ok ther goes my 3:00 am sound off/contribution. I guess i feel better getting that off my chest😆. Respond or ignore, but just turn the post pink in the sake of the forum😊
