I think nowadays one component of the success of a show is the amount of discussion it can generate online across social media. And to keep that discussion going one needs regular updates, photos from set, news stories, videos and so on. And one aspect of this is circulating news that may or may not be true but keeps the conversation around the show going.

And yes, I'm equally sure that we over-analyse. But once a work of art has been made, whether book or movie or tv show and put out there, the one thing that you cannot predict or control is how people are going to understand and interpret it. Some people will totally get it, some will over-analyse (though personally I find such a distinction one of degree only), some will misunderstand it and some will simply dismiss it without engaging with it.

👏👏
Art is completely subjective, after it has been crafted, it completely depends upon the viewer or reader how one interprets it. And that interpretation comes from our experiences with life. The scope for meanings and the depth grows with us 😊

Yes Vedika, very true. If the characters are black or white, there is hardly any room for analysis. But, when there is depth and layers, as in the case of these two and their story, there is so much leeway to understand their story in our terms. These are the interesting work of art to me!
