Yes diamonds are forever and that necklace seems to be his promise of love for her. Bracelet is also a promise of love that he probably is seeking from mahek. As long as they don't make him creepy and keep him in the cute insecure smart brat human zone, i would love it. Not a fan of obsessive lovers, who hurt or even kill the people they claim to love.
