Is it not true that sometimes when all is lost ... only very fragile , tenacious things like the smell
Of jasmine in a lonely night keep you going
And again is it not true that just the memory of a face keeps us on the long narrow straight path , throwing aside all tempataions
We all need a blue pole star in our lives .. may be the Sky is for Shaurya and Mehak .. maybe the wind as KK is for Mehak , Mehak has always been that for Shaurya ...
You have made me think of another layer for these characters ..
BTW I am not supposed to choose but the rain laden evening is my favourite ... you know to keep the gist of poetry on translations is an art and you do that so well ... that one enjoys reading the translation as much as the original ones
