The battle for Mehak.

Been quite busy today, not that it stopped me from talking here😆, making a brief post on yesterday's episode.

IMO, yesterday battle lines were drawn between Khadoos Chachi and Khadoos Kumar for Mehak.

I had always wondered will Mehak ever choose Shauriya over her family any day? So far, he made it all so easy for her to leave him for her family. I think, that changed from yesterday with their shared horror, because what she means to him has changed.

She has got the sole rights to worry him and she seems to be happy with it. She didn't need an "I love you'. Loved the way she leaned on to her shoulder. Some where she knew the Shauriya who carried her out of the Gurdwara was the one she was looking for.

Kanta Chachi! IMO, is on a power trip. Her anger and resentment towards SK is totally understandable. In her attempt to prove how unsuitable Shauire is to Mehak she's bulldozing Mehak and acting like Shital.

She better be careful with cursing. Words have power and if the other person's karma is not aligned, they'll come to haunt you.

I liked how they've kept Shauire in character and the way he barged into their house after being warned off by Kanta. Let's not forget they're almost family and Chachi barges into his bathroom and slaps him in their hall.

It was interesting to see how Kanta & SK view his role in Mehak's life, he sees himself as her lucky mascot and protector and she as the harbinger of danger and bad luck. To Mehak's credit she never blamed him for her misfortunes; she only wanted to make him aware of his actions.

Loved the way PD played the referee yesterday. I hope she continues to advice her aggressive DIL to hold her tongue. She might alienate her daughterish niece in days to come.

Since Chachi was spewing venom, here is my conspiracy theory about her. She does like to throw her weight around and is there a more sinister trait hiding beneath her responsible facade?.Did she kill Mehak's Mom to become the eldest DIL and her father for the store to help her not so business savvy husband?

I wanted justice for Mehak & Shauirya and RogueIt and Ajay to face the consequences of their actions, looks like it's on the way. So a big thank you to Cvs for that and also for making Mehak report the crime .

Dear Cvs, let Shauire be the believer sans superstition, let him not believe in kala tikka or kala chaya.

I would love to see Karuna visit Mehak.

Me too want Mehek to choose Shaurya over her parivaar as she belongs to him and she'll find real love and happiness only with Shaurya. Until yesterday her family mattered to her, but the equation is changing now...he will matter the most to her!❤️

@ Blue - Nahinnn! Sims yaar I hope CVs dont get any ideas from this! Kanta's genuine love and concern for Mahek is her best feature. Their bond is heartwarming and rare where sabuns usually show orphaned niece is ill treated and unloved, unwanted. I definitely do not want to see this play out so CVs please do ignore parts of Sims' post😃 I am still not over the shock of The Shaurya Khanna being turned into a petty chindi chor...and so many things after that have been mind boggling. 😆

@Nandy- I'm thinking of long term for this show. Better to turn Kanta into a villain than Mehak into a fly or a ghost😆
They've turned a feminist shrewd business man into a stupid MCP thief, so why not?

Jokes apart I do believe Kanat takes advantage of Mehak's obliging nature and her deep rooted indebtedness to them. i don't see her trying to control Nehal or Mohit's love life the way she's doing with Mehak presently.
She and Daddu use Mehak for their power trips frequently.
