Hi Ann,

Keeping your fingers crossed means hoping for Good Luck...

For example children would cross their fingers when they lie to avoid punishment for telling a lie...

And when your cross your fingers you put the middle finger over the index finger and then it looks sign of the cross (I thought you would know about it!)...

However, in practice it is used synonymously with 'Let's wait and watch for some positive outcome' ...

Shammu, you know what...after the initial surprise twist ...I have lost hope of any real twists from ST...

And the only twist I can connect with is the Twist Dance that my grandmother used to speak of ...in the 1960s in the Hindi and Tamil movies there used to be a rock and roll type of dance form and they used to call it Twist Dance...

Toh whenever ST speaks of twists I feel like doing a Twist Dance ...🤣🤣
