I'm glad the focus has been on the leads and we get to see their growth. My last show spent 2 months on a stupid sibling wedding and the leads never got a proper closure when the show tanked.

the seeds for various sub-plots are planted here already, they can revive them any time.

This tempo is wha'st keeping me hooked to this show.
Every week we've a twist and the conflict gets resolved in 5 episodes and we move on to next week quickly with anticipation.Unlike ,well every other show that airs presently.
MehRya relationship is in nascent stage and when they progress they'll get to know each other.

The Cvs have clearly conveyed Shauriya's intentions in the last two promos and in y'day's epi, if people still suspect then it's not their fault.

Keep racing Cvs! That's the USP of this show IMO.

Mahek should know Shourya's likes and dislikes, his taste in food, his passion for fitness, his equation with his family members. The way they are moving so fast they need 2hrs maha episode to show the miscellaneous.

Did you notice poor Shourya got a head injury and no one is bothered. Even Mahek didn't notice. Cv needs to be careful . Feel like they are jumping from one plot to other. No need to show the accident if no one is shown bothered.

Agree with you, Sonali on the pacing of the show. However, I do not want them to drag it down to levels of other shows around. The USP of this show is its simplicity and its very authentic relatable characters, esp the Sharma household. As in earlier episodes, showing those little little interactions between Kanta chachi (I dunno I somehow feel am being disrespectiful if I type just kanta 😊.. power of the character you see) and Jeevan, PD - Balwant, PD - Sonal's mom was such a pleasure. it just enhanced the whole feel of the show. While the essence then too was Mehak SK relationship during ISC and the spotlight was very much on them, these side tracks made watching the show a bliss.

Right now, its not that am complaining - complaining about the track but just that it would be so much more beautiful if as you pointed out, that they could show those smaller nuances, take us viewers along with the characters on their journey of love, life etc. 😊

Coming to the pearl locket - absolutely. Even I have felt that there is some story or symbolism to it - she never even removes it and am hoping that there is backstory to that as well.

But so far, so good.

Yes dear, you are very much right. The earlier episodes were filled with those beautiful relation which made us really fall for Mahek as a kind hearted simple girl. , Kanta Chachi as a strict but loving caring and matured lady , PD as the eldest but the youngest at heart. Their interactions with each other, etc. Even in Khanna house they succeed in showing their love hate relationship . Both ISC track and family relations were given equal importance and screen space. All these made us fall in love for Mahyra . Now they are racing as if they have given a time limit to complete the job. I just want that they shouldn't ruin the magic by jumping to the next plot. The five days challenge was a great idea to show different gamut of emotion. They could have used it beautifully. Yesterday episode was a complete disaster. To advertise little champ they showed that everything is normal. Too much.
