Is there a reason why Karuna is childless?

With the introduction of Sanjay, I feel that he could have been the reason for Karuna being unable to conceive, so that he can control the wealth forever.Harish is a useless addict who can be manipulated anyway. By twist of fate Sanjay ended up in jail and Shaurya had a chance to become strong.

Although I have had a deep-seeded fear that eventually a ne'er do well sibling of Shaurya's will show (Karuna's biological child) for now I have held on to the idea that perhaps she may have had some fertility issues which may have made it easier for her to accept Shaurya in the first instance and secondly had her doting on him as much as she indicated that she did in earlier episodes. I'm not certain how Sanjay could have instigated such, but anything is possible in tv land😆

As it pertains to Shaurya heading the family business; my thought is that with Karuna's upbringing and Shaurya's industrious nature, he was deemed the natural one to head the grandfather's enterprises when time came about. Of course Sanjay's incarceration was certainly a factor in Shaurya's rise to the top, but, judging by what we have been shown of the rest of the family, I think Shaurya would have reached these heights on his own eventually.

I wish the CVS can change Harish character...His dilouge delivery is pathetic...One don't understand how to react...To laugh or to bang their head...

He doesn't look like father of SK in any angle...

may be karuna's past still unfinished...the cvs didnt revealed it yet completely...so we can expect more twists and turns in karuna's, shaurya's as well as in whole khannas' life...

I'm inclined to think that the man has declined in his latter years. In no way does he resemble the energetic and ambitious man who managed to convince Karuna's father that he was good enough to marry his daughter. Whether it be vices he picked up marrying up, or a result of being pushed aside when his son took over the reigns of the family business,, he seems almost a comical shadow of the man, he had been described as...

Me too think that either she had some issues conceiving a child or once she came to know about Shaurya she decided not to have a child of her own...possible...and as far as Shaurya's status in the family is concerned Nanaji would have gone on his hard working nature and his business acumen right from his young age to handover the reigns of his vast business empire and property...Nanaji must have been a self made man and would have seen the same qualities in young Shaurya, so would have selected him as his natural heir...

After seeing Sanjay's dance with the policemen and the way he was talking to Rajeev, I have a doubt whether Vicky is his son.could Vicky be KD's son?

I won't rule out some step siblings landing from abroad.

Karuna herself said that she came to know about Harish's first wife and 9 yr old Shaurya after 8 yrs of their marriage. That's a long time to not have kids by choice in those days. So I am assuming that she was not able to conceive for whatever reasons. I am just curious about this because Svetlana already had that Vicky by the time 9 yr old Shaurya landed in Karuna's lap. Wonder whose son Vicky is, KD's or Sanjay's? Sameer doesn't seem to have any kids, so the only heir was Vicky. Karuna's father owned some other business, but looks like that doesn't have anything to do with Shaurya's restaurant business. He seems to have established restaurants by himself. Karuna might have helped initially, but he seems to be a self made man.

Karuna, as her name suggests, is a kind woman. So it must have been natural for her to shower all her motherly love on Shaurya. She even forgave the cheating husband! I guess she is just too kind, somewhat like Mehak. Harish might have taken to drinking out of guilt for cheating his families. May be he was a better person before greed took over. Though the actor sucks, what I understood is that he knows he was wrong back then, but he is too full of ego to genuinely apologize to his son.

Now I am confused about what the villain group is after, if Shaurya doesn't have a claim on Karuna's father's property? Hope they soon give a logical enough story behind all this conspiring from Sanjay and co.

Agree with u Kelly...He cheated both the wives ..His son and his father in law...

He is the main reason his son has turned like this...
