Mehak asks Shaurya why is he ever angry on her? Can't he speak to her in a loving manner? We really do not know why Shaurya hates her for no reason at all. All I can say is he gets angry when he sees her. She reminds him of something for sure that makes him angry. He has a problem with her class - Shaurya has this middle class mania. It is just not Mehak, he didn't like the waiter too! 😡😡😡
Anger is a secondary emotion, which is caused by and hides a deeper emotion. It could be hurt or betrayal or fear of rejection. The pain of rejection is one of the strongest factors in a person's life, especially in childhood. A child forms strong attachments to parents and friends, and finds security in these relationships. I think Shaurya was deprived of this security after he lost his Mom and his Dad was not around to fill the gap (he does tell his Dad that you came very late in my life - aapne 12 saal dher kar di), maybe he was left a;; alone in some orphanage (all his flashback memories fighting with other kids). When those who are trusted communicate rejection, the child's secure world collapses and he faces a host of fears. The pain of rejection and the torment of fears can cause the child to develop deep bitterness toward people and life in general.
And knowing this Karuna has been very soft with him and never did anything about it except giving her unconditional love. Now, others like Svetlana may have taunted him for being from middle class and I think this is the reason for his aversion of the middle class. In short he is the embodiment of that middle class which he hates about. And this is exactly the reason he is the way he is today! But a lot is still to come...I am sure in the coming days it will be some flashback time ...
