Poor Kerim is that her mercy. He is almost a robot with her.

And all she did was some silent states instead of discussing next steps and getting his view on the proceedings. Her tears will move the viewers but not a judicial system.
Even after returning to Istanbul, he very well knows the situation of each one turning hostile or media twisting the story...but he is keeping mum.
To be candid, dummy wants Kerim to be like this...a little restrained. He cant be her cheerleader always!
