if I have to say anything on this whole fiasco then it is this ...
the very first thing - I feel MNS has very successful diverted the whole attention to fawad and ppl are debating endlessly and completely ignoring the real issue . after sometime the issue will get settled , ppl will will forget it but the real problem would rremain unsolved
but who cares : the goal was to ban fawad - that's done , now pack up 😕
second - there are many FK fans questioning whether they still should support fawad over the lost lives ...
I would say more than supporting fawad we are opposing the wrong direction in which ppl are taking decisions
do you really think banning artists is the solution ?? it can't be - whether fawad works in india or not is not the concern for terrorists .
[ as per an article , question comes here that by allowing artists to work in india we make the soldiers feel that their life does not have any value
ans : indian army is on the borders to fight terrorism and not citizens from other country . if india would have been a part of some terrorist plan , only then it could have been the betryayel of the army .]
when ppl say that these actors earn money and go back to their homes doing nothing for india - I find it wrong
these actors are bringing an audience( and money follows ) along with them - which in turn is helping our own film industry .
about the coondemtiom from fawad - I read an article which mrs khan posted somewhere ( I don't remember ) which said how the local citizens sometimes refuse to say anything on political matters because they fear opposition from certain section of their own society and the government too ... well we all know how unstable'Pakistan govt. right now is - fawad best knows about the situations back home and has the right to decide for himself . also if fawad is not condemning an act , it definitely does not mean that isn't feeling sad for the whole thing .
and one more weird thing I read - that all the money earned by pak artists are used to fund the terrorist group 😕
seriously?? do these journalists write with their eyes open ??
do you think there must be a tax like terrorism tax in pak?
if the govt. has to fund the group , it would even if artists cross border or not .
and then the questions like whether to take art and culture over patriotism - cultural exchanges have never affected politics and so we should not bring politics into arts either - but ppl only knw how to turn positives into negetives by dragging everything into politics ... and all this is even more encouraged by our media - famous journalists like arnab almost popping out of the tv screen and screaming about fawad with all the facts wrong - makes me question their genuinity and their level of thinking 🥱
my thoughts are in such a mess still... and I wrote an essay but what to do , fawad is being attacked from every possible angle all for the wrong reasons ...if we miss out anything ppl will make it a weapon and again throw it on us ..
amidst all the tensions , we have this great news of FK's chhotu pyari beti 😃 congratulations to fawad and sadaf and may god bless the baby ...
