Why is Zindagi telecasting series previously broadcast by Zee Network

Zindagi is now showing only 4 shows from Pakistan/Turkey on their premiere run namely Vasl, Mohabbat Subah Ka Sitara Hai, Malika e Aliya and Namak Parey. Out of these four shows,Namak Parey is shown on weekends. Vasl will probably be replaced by Ishqaway.

Instead of telecasting new shows, they will be telecasting Babul Ki Duaein, Antara and Vrindavan Ki Radhika, that are 162, 175, and 803 episodes long respectively. Assuming they are broadcast 6 days a week, it means that the shows will be on for 27, 29, and 134 weeks respectively. As a result, no new shows will be broadcast in their time slots for more than 6 months to nearly 2.5 years.

Among the shows they promised to show last year, they still have not broadcast Dil Dhoondta Hai aka Paani Jaisa Pyar starring Saba Qamar and Mikaal Zulfikar.

They created a new afternoon band to broadcast news shows, which they have now discarded. Now they are going all in with retreads. What is their strategy here? They have deviated from "Jodey Dilon Ko" slogan that bandied about 2 years ago.

hadh hai,2 saal bhi poore nahi hue is channel ko aur zindagi channel indian channel bana diyaa😡what the hell they doing...

they telecast indian movies(dil dhadkne do)🤢,indian serials🤢adhe adhure and now old shows amanat...are they out of their mind?

i hate indian shows...crap,totally crap...

100-200 episodes to chalo jaldi finish ho jayenge but 800 episodes😡,kitne saare zee ke channels hai uspar kyu nahi dikhate indian bakwaas shows...kam se kam zindagi ko to pakistan serials ke liy rehne de...

ek din ayega jab sirf ek pakistan serial ayega aur baki indians...ab to lagta hai t.v dekhna hi band karna padega...

I agree they should show Pakistani content/turkish content only. They could have shown new Pak movies that came out in the last few years. Its annoying to see all those old zee shows...😡

i too have same question. and why with other name ?? don't people know there original name of shows. what crap they are going to show . i wished they would have been bring hip hip huraay, zee rishtey and astitva.

I am hella annoyed when i first saw that old zee show gonna telecast like seriously are they out of their mind????
Yaar why the hell they telecasting it on zindagi and why not on that...rishtey channel???
Like i am so excited to watch more pakistani and turkish stuff but crap...the old shows...

Because pak shows run on a swasonal basis and 30 episodes shown in 30 weeks.

Ut of a total of 30 shows only 1 or 3 are hits.

So they need to put filler shiws or perhaps flop shows of pak as they show all 30 eps in 1 month.

There arent many pak shows out there. We take em slow and steady and zindagi shows them in a rush.

Only 2015 and 2016 year is left before that they have covered all hit shiws released from 2011 till 2014.

Pak tv indistry is relatively new and its format and inflow of money into production and channels started around 2009.

So u all have to wait until the shows of 216 also comolete thier swasons. There areonly about 11 to 12 hit shows between 2015 and 2016. Which should cover 12 motnha for zindagi.

I think they are just buying time. Which is dumb coz they can shiw turkish,croatian and south american tv shows in that time slot.
