Sh was innocent but was she from another planet? Her Khal's family was full of selfish people she went on with her life there as she felt family helped her but then Nabeel comes into her life and he knew that she will not survive in this selfish world where relations means nothing specially what he had sen in both families. He did the right thing making the will but poor chap never knew that she will become the target of greedy ones. Liked Zeeshan but recently came to know that he already was married .
Pak shows dare to tread where till now in recent time i have not seen our shows to dare .
Already have said tht would have liked to have some different ending and i thought so when heard Zeeshan talking to his father .

How long she was going to stay dumb ,was going to sacrifice her daughter also to these leeches ?

Ending disappointed me .

she was not only innocent but a better word would be totally dumb...she married nabeel too with many questions in her mind ...only after that came to know him better and then he took her to a fairy tale and she was rightly apprehensive of the good things lasting...yes he took her out of the hot pan and put her into boiling water...his family was no better...

the whole marriage thing of zeeshan too did not make sense ...rabia and he had thier own set of problems ...marriage was treated as joke in this show totally...

i love watching Pakistani shows but this is one show where i was disappointed with the heroine ..even the meekest rise when thier offspring is harmed ..that is the law of the nature ...it was shocking to see rumiasa treat maham the way she did ...yes i wanted more to the end as well...it was abrupt and left so many loose ends...

being crazy for love stories i wanted one for rumiasa and zeeshan once they were forced into marriage but not like this...this girl was absolutely nothing what nabeel kept on describing her in zeeshan's flashbacks...i hoped to see her atleast take a stand for her daughter if not herself...educate herself as nabeel had suggested ,fight ,atleast attempt to fight...even the end zeeshan telling her what he expects from his wife...her response left one pulling out their hair..

I honestly feel so much for Zeeshan in all this mess..noone seemed to care much about him too..
he was just a commodity in his own house..his parents and sisters were always all about Nabeel..his ex-wife was all about Nabeel's gifts and property too

and that is why the best part of this show would always be the moments Zeeshan and Maham shared! can I say that Maham was the only one (and yes only her, not even Rumaisa) who bestowed Zeeshan with a lot of izzat and pyaar..

There is so much I want to write about the father-daughter bond shown, it was so pure and beautiful! but will save it for later..

++++++++++++++++++
PS - Neerja I like the scenario you mentioned - it makes a lot of sense in the realm of things! but I guess the concept of this show was never women empowerment (?) Umera Ahmed isnt the kinds to shy away from it, if it was really her intention..she wanted to show Rumaisa just in this way - meek, suppressed, dumb and everything else..maybe its a lesson that an agyakaari dukhiyari abla nari cannot be an excuse to tolerate bullshit from everyone and anyone?

IDK that said my take away from this show will always be Zeeshan and Maham..two characters who rose above the occasion every time, fighting challenging the status quo in their own unique way..specially Maham😊😊❤️

and who is to say or vouch for the fact people who are submissive in real life, stay one forever either?
even the most meek of beings change or become fiery for the sake of their kids. and this WITHOUT any Nabeel or Zeeshan in their lives.

there are numerous real life examples, one that comes to my mind -

an uneducated mother from a distant village in India from lower caste fights for the rights of her daughter against her husband and her inlaws to ensure her daughter of five gets equal rights to education as her brothers? initially she is beaten up and threatened for her and her daughter's life, hence she abandons them and runs away with her girl to an undisclosed location. ..struggles the whole of her life, to make a living Her daughter grows up to be an engineer and heads asia pacific region of one of the MNCs, and her speech where she mentions the lifestory of her mother and her sacrifices had broken the internet!

Its not uncanny to expect some change from Rumaisa, she is not just a wife, but a mother too! and we all watch shows to see a positive growth in a character dont we? having said that, Ive reiterated this earlier, but I do think UA did not want to show any growth Rumaisa's character sketch on purpose, her focus was on the men in this show..

I loved that scene, and also the one where Rumi tried to wake Zeeshan up but leaves it midway.😳 Cute.

You know what I think, Zeeshan was indeed affected by her during the first time he met her in Nabeel's office. That time, he surely made a joke about her "Chaar Gaz Ki Chaadar!" 😆😆😆
But he always seemed very mystified and inquisitive about what attracted Nabeel to an ordinary girl like Rumaisa? When he didn't have any deficiency of high class girls for him.

And after her marriage to Nabeel, when they were introduced formally for the first time when she brought in tea for him, ironed his clothes and made breakfast for him that was the time, he understood why Nabeel had said that "usme kuch buraa hai hi nahi."
Then after Nabeel's death when he supported her and stood by her he slowly started finding 50% of the truth, Nabeel had told him about Rumaisa during their Brother time together.

And now when he's married to her, he is now finding all the 50% of truth in Nabeel's words and that makes him guilty cuz he left Rumaisa and Maham to their state just after their nikaah. It can be more like he feels, he escaped leaving them to their state just cuz of he wasn't over Rabiya. That's Zeeshan's guilt. The soft look that's there in his eyes when he looks at Rumi and Maham is mainly cuz of that guilt and the fact that he indeed has fallen for her.

In that scene where Zeeshan tells her that no one has forced her to live like a maid in this house, she used to live here earlier too to which she replies that she had Nabeel with her. Being Zeeshan's wife doesn't helps her.
That look in Zeeshan's eyes was that of guilt of leaving her alone in this mess.😳

thanks...i was so confused about the guilt part...true that she did intrigue him from start given how nabeel was head over his heels in love with her..and over days at home he realized it as well...the last two episodes has zeeshan just breaking all the hurdles between them and one could actually see and feel the intimacy of a husband dealing with his wife ..it was like all his confusions and guilt were washed away and there was that hope, smile on his face...

i agree with you..the writer had no intention to show any growth in rumiasa ..it was more about the men in the show..first nabeel and then zeeshan ...but i wonder why make a love story if you cannot balance the characters...that it looks more like pity ..

and that is what worked me up..the mother in her turned out like this...i cannot accept any justification for the way she dealt with maham..fine be the servant of the house ,rub your nose on the floor but why treat maham so harsh ..is it not enough that the entire household treats her so bad...she keeps on wailing remembering nabeel but cannot even bring herself to safeguard his flesh and blood ..what use is such mohabbat if it brings nothing in your life...

+1 to the disappointing portrayal of Rumaisa as a mother. the only explanation i can offer is that she displaced all the frustration and anger over how others treated her, on Maham, that was her only window of letting out the simmering anger inside her

and that was COMPLETELY WRONG way of dealing with her situation..

on Zeeshan and Rumaisa - I actually dont even look at their connect as a lovestory..Zeeshan being the good hearted soul, owned up to his responsibilities and decided to give his marriage a chance..thats about it..it really was Maham who he had grown so fond of, he dint want to part with her IMO.

but I do think Rumaisa eventually did fall in love with him..more than what she felt for Nabeel even. Zeeshan challenged her and I feel, helped her grow a voice, she seemed a lot more confident towards the end of the show and thats when her last monologue made a lot of sense..

Ah! How much Im loving these interpretations and discussions about Zeeshan Rumaisa. ❤️ I haven't seen the ending, so will reserve my opinion till the finale but I'm definitely looking forward to it.
Agree to all your points Heeru and @sun29. Nabeel was an amazing human and a lovable husband. With her, Rumaisa was overwhelmed as he weaved a live fairy tale for her that fairy tale which she only had dreamt of. And by the time, she would realize the saddest tragedy happened.

But with Zeeshan it was different. Zeeshan taught her to walk on earth, to live and fight for herself rather than being a doormat for all. The Rumi that fell in love with Zeeshan was more strong, more humane and more confident.
How I wish I was there to witness their pure love story.
You know maybe, in the near future Maham has a brother or a sister. And this time Zeeshan will be there to care for her, he will be uthaying all the naaz nakhre of a pregnant Rumi and she won't be treated as an extra baggage and will be pampered. That's my heartfelt wish. ❤️😳

Coming to the episode, I now seriously want to scream at Rumi so bad and shake her up so so hard that she won't have the heart to do all that she is doing with little Maham. 🤬
I mean your kid is complaining that her stomach is aching and she is so frustrated saying that, Does Maham really wants that she should leave him somewhere?! That's insane.😡 She's a child for god sake, she wants your love and care, and you're taking out all your frustration on that little girl? That's lame and pathetic.
I hate how she shakes her up so roughly when the little girl was sitting in the lounge, and also back in the room. I want to smack her so so hard when after all this, she holds Maham gently. I just want to take Maham away from her and scream at her, that you don't deserve this child woman, you don't deserve anything.

I don't at all encourage and detest if mother's take out all their frustrations on their kids. This was earlier shown in some series's too and I detested it there which led to many disrupted views and Bhaashan 😆😆😆 but no matter what, no woman has the right to treat her child like this, period.😡😡
Rumaisa can do whatever the hell, she wants too. Bow down to the feet of everyone but don't dare ill treat little Maham.

Its like my mother said, that Nabeel loved her so intensely. That love which Rumaisa perhaps haven't even experienced in all her life and she's treating that man's last sign on this earth as a rut.😡😡 Like said, what's the worth of such Mohabbat if you don't even value his child.
And Maham, I feel so bad for that little girl. She already has no father who would pamper her like a princess. Her mother treats her like a rut and everyone in the house treats her like a servant's daughter. I mean I'm shocked at the way Maham is treated by everyone and her mother, the kid has on one to look upto and my heart goes out for her.

And Zeeshan...😳
Kahin Naa Laage Mann,
Kya Hai Yeh Soonapann Ahaan..
Is This Love..??
Maine Naa Jaana..
Sorry for that song, its completely out of tune but still its very very apt for him now days.😆😆
But this man is seriously in love. Like mentioned, I loved the scene where Zeeshan gets irritated at her question and asks her to be quiet.
The silent treatment and the patience with which she deals with him, and the way Zeeshan's eyes followed her was so adorable.😳
Their small scenes fill my heart with such warmth and must say, Zeeshan is adorable when he's all cranky and irritated. ❤️
Adeel looks so so handsome in that white kurta churidaars.

But jo bhi hai, No mother has the right to treat her child like this and it isn't justified at any matter.
If you treat your child the way she's treated by everyone else then why are you a mother even?

All the ill treatment, Maham and Rumaisa faced at the hands of Nabeel's family should have made her more protective towards her daughter. But the way Rumi treats her, its better that she leaves her in an orphanage.

Poor child has no one except Rumaisa and that is why, I loved when Maham found her father and his love in Zeeshan.

...yes i agree to ur point...there is no justification ...becoz i wont be doing it myself...i just understood her acts to the situations...yes she should become strong...but she never came out from her bad luck...manhoosiyat...herself...
yes zeeshan was like farishta for maham...hell se nikaal ke...heaven mein le gaya...

replied in red😳😳😳

So I watched Episode 22, two times and still won't get over it.😳
One of the most beautiful, amazingly directed and heartwarming episodes of the show.
IKR❤️ everything falls in place so beautifully in this one and finale, finally so much positivity, warmth, sunshine and start of happiness in the three central character's life - Zeeshan, Rumaisa and carrying forward Nabeel's legacy through Maham..the whole of the series was so depressive and the direction has been so dull and all over the place in so many episodes, but I can forgive all of that, just for the last two epis😳😳😳 and somehow the bg score is also very effectively used..the piano is amazzzing in it!

The opening scene was so damn beautiful where Maham gently trods up with little steps to Zeeshan and he, hands her a slice of toast which she eats and then how cutely he hands her the juice glass, my heart goes out to that little girl who was hungry. It was as if no one had asked her that she was hungry or if she required food.
Rumaisa runs after every other kid of the house with a tray of food, but she doesn't even thinks about Maham who might be hungry too. I so detest her for this.😡😡

gosh I love the ice breaks between the two lol! it wasnt all of sudden, Zeeshan had been observing how Maham was being treated as a commodity and liability by everyone and her mother too..and he did not change overnight either..he observed whatever he could see around him for a while and then when Maham literally took the baby steps, he helped her! AWW! they are truly the most adorable pair of father-daughter I have ever seen <3 I love them more than Asher-Hareem..and I loved Asher as a dad..so thats saying a lot😳

Another thing, Writer and Director have shown the bonding of Zeeshan Maham so beautifully.⭐️
Zeeshan who needed the care and attention of his family and Maham who needed a bit of love and care, and its beautiful as to how both find solace in each other. The scene where little Maham counts the pages of his newspaper and then holds his finger was aww..❤️
Unlike his selfish family, Maham is the one who was with Zeeshan when he felt alone.

I couldnt write better than this! seriously it was such a pure bond! and the silent communication <3
The scenes of Maham Zeeshan are such complete bliss!
When Rumaisa says she doesn't have more toys, the way Zeeshan strokes her hair and brings in loads of toys.

The way he feeds her, after Rumaisa blasts at the little girl for opening her trunk which I think wasn't necessary at all. 😳

I literally cringed everytime when I saw that cute little bundle of joy, being beaten up🤢 and IDK why her hair was never combed properly😕 but she looked so cute in all those sweet little kurtis haha!

out of all the scenes of Rumaisa ill treating Maham, only this particular scene to me actually made some sense..IMO, i can understand why Rumaisa did that, that trunk packed in the details of her journey with Nabeel, amongst other things and also reminded her of terrible tragedy that struck in her life..she would want to keep it packed up safely

but Maham being Maham😆 shared those pent up emotions of Rumi through that trunk with Zeeshan in her own style😳

The scene where she trods to him with little steps at the middle of the night, and Zeeshan makes her sleep with him.

such a contrast to the scene, where Zeeshan was annoyed with Maham making noises in the middle of the night😆 its amazing, how just in one episode they managed to successfully drive the bond of Zeeshan-Maham😳😳

The morning scene, where Rumi tries to wake Maham up but Zeeshan wakes up instead and insists her to let it be. How Adorably Maham and Zeeshan were sleeping together.

And the last scene where Maham calls him Papa and he replies was heavenly. ❤️ I mean that little girl grew so attached to him that she started calling him Papa.
Beautiful. Plain Beautiful.

😭😭😭 they get happy tears in my eyes every single time!

Must say, After Fawad. Adeel interacting with kids is beautiful. ❤️
The way he was playing with Maham was such a bliss to watch.
His scenes with Roomi in Shukk were beautiful too.

agreed these two actors are GEMS! very natural performances!

Whenever he gets married, this man will be an amazing father.

☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Then Rumaisa Zeeshan, I can slowly see the ice melting between them. But Im really curious as to why, Rumaisa was wearing those bangles when she came upstairs after knowing about Zeeshan's broken engagement? Can someone tell me? She didnt wear them earlier, why now?

so I see the Rumaisa-Zeeshan scenes in a new light now, with all the discussions here..and even I was startled, I never noticed this..her suddenly wearing bangles was really SOMETHING😲😆 does it mean, that subconsciously she had accepted Zeeshan as her husband already and wasnt taking care of him, just out of duty or due to his accident?😲😲 was she sort of attracted to him, but did not know that herself yet😲😲😲

The scene where his eyes follow her while he pretends to read was cute. ❤️
Zeeshan looks so adorable when he pretends to do his work, but his eyes are watching him when she isn't looking at him.😆😆😆

IK, again now that I see it all in a new light, Zeeshan too seemed to be particularly mystified about Rumi..gauging her, observing her every step, trying hard to ignore, but yet somewhat besotted by what he was seeing..😲😲😲

this is all very surprising for me 😛

He brought the aquarium back in his room and that was very appreciative of him.👏👏 The scene where Rumaisa cries and remembers Nabeel, Zeeshan has a flashback with his brother too and that moment, his eyes definitely conveyed that he has fallen hard for Rumaisa.😳
The care and concern which he has for her, which he is masking under the name of responsibilities is actually Love.

that was truly awesome, fact being that he had done exactly what Nabeel had done for Rumaisa :O that particular FB scene of Rumi-Nabeel was actually touching, i will never really connect to the erstwhile pairing, but this one got to me..it was cute and Rumi's pain was really moving here

The scene where Zeeshan was showing the fishes to Maham was cute too! ❤️
And the smile at Rumaisa's face, seeing them was priceless.⭐️

haha, and when the domestic help too is shocked with Zeeshan's attachment to Maham lol!
the fishes wala scene is awww! that little kid who played Maham - her reactions were just soo fun!😆😆😆

The last episode today, and the Precap is making me so so excited for Rumaisa Zeeshan. ❤️

last episode even tops episode 22..its just perfect from every way..except ofcourse there was a scope for more scenes between Rumi-Zeeshan, maybe one more episode would have been good😆 but in totality Zeeshan is a rockstar in finale! and you will be dancing today trust me, he rocks it like no other🥳

PS - Heeru, if time do make some gifs and Siggis on MSKSH on Maham Zeeshan and Zeeshan Rumaisa like you made on MHMD.😳
I have just seen a gif made by you on Maham Zeeshan and Asher Hareem which I used too. 🤗

Hahahaha! THANKS YAA🤗 Im out of habit and time now, but will definitely try to squeeze in some, to make GIFs on Maham-Z and Z-Rumi..😳😳😳
