Zindagi has definitely disappointed me with aadhe adhoore... In fact I enjoy bhaage re Mann more... Its a cleverly crafted show and has maintained its story line intact... Quite light and free spirited with cleverly layered characterisation...

Not just Tagore , in Bengali we have other authors too who wrote beautifully on infidelity. If you read Sarat Chandra's Griha daha, that is excellent too. It too has been made in movies. It had infidelity. But was so tastefully portrayed...

Tagore's own life..his affair with his SIL...was the inspiration for Charulata.

What Ajay Sinhha showing is trash and cheap. Period.

Chokher Bali is being telecast in Bengali on Zee Bangla now. Ajay Sinha should at least make effort to read the novels and then write something ..

He is taking Jassi to the point of making her prostitute... and Varinder...I hope at least he reforms... but looking at Jassi... i don't think he can stay away from her longer..she will do something desperate to win him back..

Instead wen naren is back we have this weird jassi who's split... Once he's gone she is behind varinder...

The change in characterisation now and then makes everything fickle.. The parda dialogue by jassi then was so DEEP so DEEP but now it has lost its whole meaning... Woman with physical needs is logical to understand but now it seems to have no head and tail of it... No substance... And this is very it is lacking... I opened this thread as there was content to this show.. Everything out in the open and now they lack direction... When will the ppl know of their relationship? The neighbor savita was shown spying long back as she doubted jassi viren... Cmn back to channi, she needs to open her antennas... Behen dekho tumhari behen aur pati kya gul khila rahe hai...

Yes jassi was dominant possessive and the ruler.. But now everything seems stagnated as her demands are seemingly unreasonable... If her relation with naren was shown quite strained and complex after his return I would have understood... But now it seems rubbish... The promo where she cried so much on naren's departure holds no meaning if she's behind varinder now. The only thing I loved in that promo was the way she retorted her MIL... That was damdar but overall the impact and essence has lost...

Irony is with Pak shows which mostly are with strong content based and you bring this crap . Jassi gives a damn about her husband and problem is director himself seems to be confused what he wants to tell . Jassi is after varender and doesn't have any guilt what she i doing with her sister . The show has lost its plot completely! The makers have messed it up so badly! I cannot stand the show now. They have ruined jassi and viren's characters. Jassi - One helluva complex character with no clarity as to what she wants in life.

Viren - the less said the better about this character. One of the most atrocious characters i have ever seen on TV. He just doesn't have a spine! I can still understand jassi that she is lonely and misses her husband around her. She has needs, i get it! But viren, he is a douche! He was ok with having physical relations with jassi before his marriage but now he is acting all lovey dovey with channi and ignores jassi for no reason. Jassi is completely flawed but i hate the fact that they are trying to show her as the desperate one. Both are equally at fault here. Clearly this concept is out of my level of understanding. Zindagi should shut such pointless shows! Isse accha toh ZGH ka re-run dikha dete!
