I didn't see a topic for this one yet and I don't get Indian channels so I have no idea if the promos have started airing but this is exciting! Looks like they will end up airing the entire Baraat series since they are going to air Azar Ki Ayegi Baraat.

Just a heads up for any Vasay Chaudhry fans out there. He did not write AKAB. He did write the next 3 in the series. The second one (Dolly) he collaborated with Bushra Ansari and the Syed Mohammed Ahmed (the writer of AKAB). Vasay wrote the last two alone. Marina Khan directed all 4 plays in the series.

Here is the synopsis from Zee Zindagi's website:
Azar is an orphan who lives with his wealthy paternal uncle, Shoqat Chaudhary. Shoqat's son Waqar is studying in London and has secretly married to a Sikh woman, Neetu. On the other hand, Shoqat's daughter Dolly is interested in Azar, but Azar is least interested in her and is engaged to his other cousin Sila. Sila, on the other hand, has developed a notion that all men are untrustworthy after seeing her parents getting separated. As the days get closer for Azar and Sila's wedding, Sila tries different tricks to break her alliance, which leads to series of hilarious twist and turns. Show Time : Starts 21st Sept 8 PM

...👏👏👏...this is a great news...i have seen some scenes of dolly ki baraat...and enjoyed so much...was waiting for this to air...and here it comes...also its good that they didnt gave it afternoon time...

don't tell me they are airing the baraat series,i mean there is no promo yet.throughout di baraat series I like azar ki ayegi baraat the least as comparison to dolly, taaka and annei ki ayegi baraat.but anyways as it is the first series lets welcome it.the baraat series is always fun to watch,i am so happy saima choudhry is coming to rock the Indian tv.it will be a double dose of bushra ansari as zindagi is already airing bilqees kaur.

They shud hv cast someone else as the lead hero with sarwat

have they aired the promo? he is a good actor but if you didn't like him that much then don't worry he is playing the part of azar in just azar ki ayegi baraat,in rest of the seasons ahson khan is playing azar and he suits the character really well.regarding the lead, the show is a family entertainment,all the characters are lead characters,personally the lead character for me will always remain saima choudhry(bushra ansari),she is the soul of the baraat series.

The date and time are already written in the title of this thread as well as the first post. The show starts September 21st at 8 pm. I
