I know I m late but I watched KHOOBSURAAT TODAY...and Omggg it was so cute and funny...I can't believe...Zee cinema finally showed it in HD and I recorded and then watched and I must say it was very well made...the promos didn't impress me much neither the songs hence I thought it to b a faltu senseless comedy movie but it was so nice and cute...I LUVED sonam Fawad and to my utter surprise he doesn't look ugly in the movie at all yeah skinny at times but he looks good...and I LUVED his chemistry with sonam...the movie turned out to b so Mich better fun light hearted with a bit of romance here and there and this is sonam kapoors one of the best performances...I jus LUVED her as Dr Mili...she defo stole the show for me...

I didn't watch it till now as I used to fear watching khoobsuraat as I Cudnt afford watching an ugly Fawad Khan in a senseless comedy movie...as I hv such high expectations from him as I watched a few of his epic pak shows where he looks a million dollar bucks and acts so. Well n those shows had such AMAZING scripts...seeing khoobsuraat promos I used to think oh god why is he so skinny ugly and why does the movie look so senseles..at least that was my perspective from the promos and I also used to think sonam will hog all the limelight he will just be a side kick but I m so surprised to see how beautiful the screenplay and dialogues were and the supporting cast was also good...I liked each and every character

I was disappointed after watching creature coz Imran Abbas had nothing to do and he also looks bad except for the mohabbat barsa Dena tu song where he looked super hot and hence I used to think khoobsuraat will also be a debacle like creature but thankfully it wasnt

It did better than creature though...it wasnt super flop...it earned 35cr which is average whereas super flop .movies earn around 20 to 25 cr...above 30 cr is considered average...So it did average given it was a low budget movie...

Khoobsurat was fine...Fawad has obviously done better work. But looks wise I would say it was simply a different sort of look for a character rather than looking ugly. He did lose lots of weight maybe due to his diabetes.

Khoobsurat's budget was low and hence managed to recover money. Plus it did well overseas ie in places like USA, UK, Gulf and Pakistan wherever there is a substantial Pakistani diaspora presence. Indian trade sites have all acknowledged that Khoobsurat was one of the best performing Indian movies in Pakistan.

I loved Fawad as Vikram! ❤️ I too thought that he wud look skinny but he didnt and he was actually so subtle and charming in his Potrayal of Vikram. Well, I cannot say the same thing for Sonam Kapoor. She was disasterous as Milli and OTT in each and every scene giving nothibg but headaches to the Audience.

I too watched Khoobsurat recently, in fact during Eid and it was an OK movie. For me the movie was worth watching just coz of Fawad and other than Fawad I liked Ratna Pathak and Kiron Kher in their respective roles.

On a whole I found the movie very patchy and disconnected and as it was more or less Sonam's movie, I wasn't impressed by her portrayal of Mili.

personally found KS blehhh..it may also be coz Sonam's brand of chic flicks is not my thing..and the only thing which made me want to watch it was fawad and him as Vikram dint disappoint..

just that there wasnt much meat in his character and it was very uni-dimensional..but he looked good and was the best part about the otherwise average movie (still not half as good as he looks in his dramas),

did I say I detest sonam's acting, except ranjhanna, I havent liked her in any other movie.., for me the best scene was vikram and manju in the end..

despite my grouses with it, I must say fawad's look in it was a trendsetter😆 every shaadi I attended last year, the boys were wearing bandhgalas and grew a beard..ala vikku style..ab kaun samjhaaye, look copy karne se, koi fawad khan nahi ban jaata🤣

LOL...I too loved the Viku-Manju scene in d end and wish we had more of those kinds. Frankly speaking didn't like Sonam being all over Fawad all the time...it was too much (or maybe I an being jealous of Sonam😳😉😆).

Sonam was all over him onscreen and offscreen. 😡

And it's not as if they focused only on sonam

All characters got well deserved screen space

Ranjhnaa was a different level together but I didn't find sonam as mili OTT in any scene ...I was pleasantly surprised she pulled off the OTT character of mili quite convincingly

And there was so .uch chemistry between Fawad and sonam

So Mich better than the OVERRATED Aliya

I sooo wish he did battle of bittora now

I might be in minority as i loved the movie and from the starting FK almost was in every frame and looked a prince and Sonam looked the part of Mili ,loud as well in dressing also with no filter while speaking . Both have crackling chemistry . As for during promotions it was quite apparent that Sonam was also landed in FK land and who would not he being a gentleman . Yes she was all over him in the reel and real life . Mili was the product of loud west Delhi Punjabi family . Her these qualities were something new to Prince who falls for her . It was perhaps editing that was missing . Full family entertainer where the whole family can watch together ,not to be embarrassed with dialogues and all .

For one thing i will blame FK as because of him i bought Battle of Bittora otherwise never was interested in buying this book .

Hiroo Give Me a Hi-5 Meri Halwa! ❤️ You seem to echo my thoughts! TBH, I watched Khoobsurat only and only for FK! 😳 I never was intrested in Sonam's Glossy Chic-Flicks produced and directed by her Pappa and Sister. And FK didnt disappoint me at all. 👏 He was Uber, Stylish, Subtle and Sophesticated as Yuvraj Vikram Singh Rathore and I had that urge to run and fall in his arms! ☺️ I too didnt like his skinny look and yes, His role wasnt that meaty but he shone in whateva he got! ⭐️ Abt Sonam, I never had or will give a damn abt her and her muvies where she is no less than a clothes wagon. 😆 Munira Di, Trust Me I had my temples throbbing by the time she finished with her OTT expressions and that screechy voice! 😡 Fawadoo came in as a soothing balm! ❤️ I might as well read a Shukrana Dua for Fawad as he walked out of BFB! It was my hearty wish that he doesnt be a part and it was granted! 😆😆 I dont even want to see Fawad with Sonam ever now! 🤢 FK deserves wayyy better! 😊
