I was once having a convo with a Pakistani and was telling him dat Pak celebs seem so much down to earth and he sd tht's coz the Pak ppl don't gv dem so much of bhaav. 😆 I suppose this celeb worshiping is a very Indian thing, though I hv seen many Pakistanis doing the same to the Indian celebs.

Disclaimer: my point isn't to bash anyone, but I am curious to know if tht's a fact. I hv even seen on PSF, how so many of them hv met d Pak actors or know of someone who know them and how casually they take them. 😳

Well obsessive fans are there everywhere Munira. Not just India. Haha.

I think one thing could be is that India has a bigger population and is geometrically alrger too,its difficult to spot them,and our celebs roam around with Z+ security,so its not easy to get to them. Z+ secuirty is given to VVVIP like prime ministers etc. Our 3 Khans get Z+ security. just imagine 😆

You wont find Shahrukh taking a stroll in LinkingRoad 😆

One other factor could be that bollywood is more or less concentrated in Mumbai. They only travel for shooting outside. And that too they choose in remote areas like villages or some country we wont know. With heavy security not to forget.

And also most of the pictures we get of celebs are thru media personalities and not many fans posted pix appear. But with Pak,I have noticed so many fan waale pix!

One more thing I have noticed with Pak celebs is that they dont do interviews much. I mena they do,but not like how our celebs do. Specially when a film releases,its maddening by the number of interviews and pictures we get.

So bcoz v already have so much content,even if some fans do meet them,they'd just take pictures and autographs which they mostly keep it to themselves. They might put it on their private facebook/insta account and thats about it. They dont necessarily share it much anywhere else and since we have already so many pictures,others dont bother sharing it with their frnz?

But with Pak I think since very little offscreen content is available to them,fans make it a point to share it online as much as possible. Its actually quite sweet.

Take Fawad for example,before khoobsurat released,at most he had done 5 video interviews I think.Im so grateful to the fans who share their pix with Fawad. Just imagine our state or else. No pictures at all.

the only celeb I have ever seen is Aishwarya Rai. I live in her native hometown so she had come to attend a function.

munira agreed..but yeah concur with disha..and TBH not every actor/ actress generates mass hysteria on public appearances now..since we have so much exposure..the mystery element and the craze of meeting stars will probably see a slow death with khans, roshan and kumar being the last ones to enjoy it..the current generation I literally dont see much interest for them..as in I saw the thanda response alia got when she came to a mall for some lakme stuff..the passerby's were openly mocking her over her GK episode and nobody wanted a selfie or anything with her😕 she's cute..but boy many college kids today look like her..

i stay in city of dreams😉😉..so as disha said, its a common phenomena to bump into stars at malls or at bookstores..crossword has been quite a starry attraction for me personally - ranbir, aish, bigb, shabana, anupam kher, alia, suniel shetty, salman khan, jacqueline, vivek, rani, saw milind soman once jogging😉 aamir came to my college once, since junaid was a junior college student then in it..

the ones for whom crowd went totally nuts for was -aish, bigb, and salman (in their separate appearances ofcoz)

See I came,what a pure soul I m😎 and u haven't made my VM yet,how cruel!😵😡

m stuck with my useless old WMM software which keeps getting hung all the time! jesswa!🤢😭 and in the meanwhile..Im so not good with all the advance VM edit softwares like adobe and sony and all😆 even though I got them installed..it feels like a complicated new world altogether I need to first take tutorials to understand how to make VMs there😆

Hmmm I guess where u stay also matters as far as bumping into celebs go.😆

I once saw Aparna Sen and Konkana Sen Sharma in a shopping mall. I prefer going as soon as the store opens to avoid the rush and guess dey too had the same idea.😆 But of go course didn't go to meet them.

Once I ran into Bappi Da nd I tell u all d gold tht he wears it's pretty distracting...u end up staring at tht then at him.😆

Also I was never crazy abt film actors as such...I was always crazy abt cricketers and I guess hv seen most of them, especially the older lot as wld go watch matches at d stadium.😳

Disha u know my bro had a real crush on Aish and one of his friend's cousin used to study in the same college as Aish, but guess den Aish dropped out for competing for these beauty pageants and he never did meet her.

I remember as a child how I fantasized the city more than the actors themselves... because acc to me then fantasizing about a whole place that homes all the actors was better than dreaming about a single actor.I envied my cousins and friends whenever they used to tell me stories about their Bombay visit..we spotted this celeb on airport..we did that etc etc.

And now when I encounter some celeb what I do is to give royal ignorance. 😆 I seriously don't get what to do around a celeb..as an introvert couldn't ever go to someone to greet them..I have to be dragged literally.Then another consolation I give to myself is that they are simple humans as us.bas.

A small incident that I would like to share-😆

During Star Parivaar promotions,Nia Sharma,Kushal Tandon,Supriya Pilgaonkar had come to one of our city malls.I really liked SGP back then and Supriyaji was my favourite there.I saw the promotional ad on tv an hour before we left.Uff!how I persuaded my dad..he tends to dislike all this.He said I will take u only on one condition if

u tell me whom do u wanna meet.I was hesitant to tell but had no other option.So yeah I told him and he was quite surprised by my choice.Then we went there...fast forwarding to a point when Supriyaji sat down after interacting with people.There was security all around and my father asked them that bacche ko auntyji se milne do and I rolled eyes..auntyji please .I was standing next to her chair and my father kept pushing me to meet her and I just did not go. 😆Kept coming back and finally we gave up and came back.Whenever i remember this incident I can't stop laughing..what a scene it mUST have been. 😆

Though,admit I have not come across any Bollywood celebrity..god knows what tamasha it would be then.🤡
