Fawad Khan who has won millions of hearts in the country with his charm, is all set to surprise his Indian aficionados in a never-seen-before avatar. The Pakistani heartthrob, who has till now, shown his intense side in dramatic stories like Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Humsafar and Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam, will be back on the small screen as the humorous simpleton Asghar in Zindagi's upcoming show Aaja Sajna Miliye Juliye.

Essaying the role of Asghar, Fawad Khan plays a young man who has no ambition in life. Asghar is an intelligent but lazy person who wants to make it big via shortcuts and shirks any work that requires him to move. His parents and peers consider him to be absolutely useless. His favourite pastime is running after girls. He dreams of marrying into a rich family that can get him as far away from his backward village as possible. He believes that this dream of his can come to fruition by marrying one of his uncle's daughters - Akbari played by the Sanam Baloch or Asghari played by Humaima Malick. Hilarity ensues when Akbari who is a very fake and shallow girl, gets ready to marry Asghar as per her father's wishes, just to be in her family's good books.
