Why do they change names?

I was wondering why do they change original names of the plays? I tried searching for a few to get their stories before hand 😛 But most have names changed 😡

the answer is in ur post only. :D
So that people don't go and find about the show on the net n watch it before it airs on the channel

😆 but wats wrong with that 😛 i just want to know the story out of curiosity... i still watch the show after knowing whats in there... 😊

The way you can check story lines, similarly others can watch full episodes, already available online.

Pakistani shows are mostly short term and made on a shoestring budget. So after production costs have been recovered from sponsors, the channels upload the show on YouTube themselves to earn revenue from hits.

The production costs are lower than what they would have to spend to get copyright infringement protection. Hence anyone can watch them anytime.

Zindagi needs to recover its own costs and hence wants people to watch the show on air, instead of YouTube.

the channel had to take this decision because people would watch the remaining episodes online n that effected the viewership of the channel !

thnx for ur replies... 😊 but i dont think this is a smart idea 😕 putting in a lil more effort anyone would find the original name of the show & those who want to watch online they still will 😳
