With the smashing trailer of Bombay Velvet that received a lots of acclamation from the audience and the B-town, Karan Johar is all set to excite the audience yet again with his upcoming production 'Kapoor and Sons' starring Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, Alia Bhatt and Rishi Kapoor.

Kapoor and Sons is a movie that's about a modern family with a love triangle in it. Shakun Batra will be directing the movie.

Karan took to twitter to confirm the news,

I was thinking Khoobsurat came along ZGH and this with Dastaan.So Zaroon and Hassan are lucky for his fans.
What remains to be seen is if the same euphoria around Zaroon's time is recreated this time also.

^^^Dharma movie got confirmed and as per rumors he has an Excel movie too. That means atleast for the next couple of years he is set. Usually in BW one film leads to another...its a chain reaction.

Ever since Fawad Khan bagged his Filmfare award for Best Debut in *Khoobsurat*, the media's been abuzz with rumours about his numerous signed' projects.

Finally a breath of relief " our very own royal heartthrob Fawad Khan is all set to appear in Karan Johar's upcoming film Kapoor and Sons.

The director-producer announced the cast on Twitter:

Ever since Fawad Khan bagged his Filmfare award for Best Debut inKhoobsurat, the media's been abuzz with rumours about his numerous signed' projects.

With Johar's tweet speculation was put to rest, and news is confirmed about Fawad's presence in the film.

Directed by Shakun Batra, the film will see Aaliya Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra from Johar's previous film Student of the Year alongside veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. Kapoor and Sons is said to be 'a modern family film with love triangle embedded in it.'

I guess excel one will eventually get confirmed as there were no refusal from any front. And if we see the patyern, sidhwani staryed following Fk on twitter post or prior to the news. I guess the search for leading lady is takibg time. Or kjo movie progression will lead to confirmation to another.

If excel and dharma movies are hos next releases, then I must say it looks good and may help Fawad having more bog films in future. Happy for him.hope he achieves more with each project.

Karan Johar Has Announced His New Movie & It's Looking Epic Already!

We just got our hands on some really fun information. So Dharma Productions is all set to make a massive multi-starrer in June called Kapoor & Sons and the actors who've been roped in for this project are already getting us excited!

So Rishi Kapoor (who, by the way, is the funniest man on the internet right now!) is going to play the grandfather and can you guess who his grandchildren are? None other than Alia Bhatt,Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan! What a good looking family, no? Interestingly, Alia and Sidharth, who're rumoured to be dating (remember the adorable gift Sid got her for her birthday?) are playing siblings in the film. #Awkward.

That's quite an epic star cast, don't you think?

Directer Shakun Batra, has not only directed Ek Main Hoon Aur Ekk Tu with Kareena Kapoorand Imran Khan in the lead, but has also worked with Alia before as he was the man behind the camera in the amazing Genius Of The Year by AIB.
