Also the stealing the thunder is one of those headlines made to catch attention.. no one can steal Fawad's thunder, everyone has their own place.

I dont know how much biased I come across on threads and blind Fawad fan defending him all the time. I guess tha becomes a habit, bt I tried watching and reviewing humsafar as unbiased as possible this time giving up my zgh fan dil. So hopefully not being unfair much.

And Never say never, there is no gurantee that Fawad's thunder will never be stolen. Hope not, bt its a pattern that in every series ginally its heroine who overshadows him as per audience and now by media. I guess it makes me sad at times that his popularity becomes overbearing for him and thus his efforts as an actor get unnoticed and ignored

Every female actor has their own place, similarly the male ones leave their own mark. Whether its Fawad, Mahira, Sanam Saeed, Sanam Baloch, each of them have some USP of their own that the audience loves. A male actor overtaking another male actor makes sense, but you can't compare a male actor to a female actor really..

yeah starting from criticising her skin color to her background and acting chops.. i will be honest i am only and on;ly a fawad khan fan and there isnt any specific fav actress of mine when it comes to my heroes, HS remains special as i knew fawad from this show.. But the amount of criticism and bashing mahira gets is of no reason.. Humsafar and FaHira were destined to be big and so they are, it isnt their fault that the show had a regressive plot regarding saas being the culprit and still the youth goes ga ga over them, neither its their fault that Fawad has ZGH and dstaan and unfortunately his every show and pairing gets compared to demean humsafar because we all know a partition based love story or a university based hate-love story is much more exciting than that of what Humsafar is.. I have repeatedly said that HS may not have an excellent plot but it had many other things working for it and better than many other shows.. I am glad that Mahira gets her deserved recognition and her individual shows like Sadkay and SEZ never had to face a battle of fanwars just how Fawad's shows face and fans like us keep thinking that why FK why ? .. moreover, beauty is subjective, and its regressive to say that Mahira had advantages because of her beauty. Lastly as sana said, nobody can steal Fawad's thunder, its too good to be true and its amazing how he outshines many in female oriented projects, obviously that doesn't mean Mahira was bad in HS, her career's best performance as she has done so less shows.. and i would like to agree with Mahira that in Dastaan Fawad was outstanding, may be Hassan act was better than the act of Asher. To summarize my essay now, Humsafar rocks, my Asher rocks, FM rocks, and rest can go to hell , no more crticism for time being.. yeah three cheers to Atika, hina bayat, Noor, Naveen and sarmad along with quratul ain baloch, HS belongs to them also, esp Naveen and sarmad.. i always wish naveen to get more appreciation as the lady is beautiful and has acting in her

and one more thing i have read at times that sanam saeed overshadowed fawad in zgh and then now mahira stealing his thunder, eventhough i dont mind them doing that, i still think that its restricted to online forums only.. In reality it is just a thought and nothing concrete, because no matter how much we imply our opinions, a industry is always male dominated and the male gets more appreciation and attention. may be thats why even in female oriented shows or films for example khoobsurat, the male lead ends up at being the most appreciated. either its our audiences's problem or its just the way things are percieved. and i really dont mind if fawad is overshadowed given that he keeps delivering icons like Asher and zaroon and then i am a happy and content fan with zero obligations of him doing a female centric show and getting overshadowed..

I will be honest , I thought Naveen Waqar was strongest performer among females of humsafar. She was beyond perfection in few scenes, but its sad that her reel character superficially is so negative that her acting chops are never got its due appreciation.

I found the weakest link Atiqa odho except may be in the ginal scene where she excelled.

Enjoy being her fan. And Fawad getting overshadowed comment are nothing new, toh been there, done that and made peace. 😆

payal, Naveen was really superb. because we pitied sara and that too knowing that she is a psychotic B*** is enuff of a prove that naveen was very good. And chemistry with fawad was also electrifying.. Kill me if u can but i like Asher-sara more than a zaroon-asmara, may be becos of the intensity, and his and sara's relationship, the bonding was undefined, something much more than friendship AND OBVIOUSLY Less than the everdying love. i dont blame sara for ending up like that, Asher is someone whom its really tough to let go especially when you have idolized him since childhood. but i do blame Asher, he shouldnt have been so pure and good and so much giving to sara which would only make her believe that he will come to her, she was too fragile and weak to understand his kind of love and affection which i believe was much more strong than that of her feelings for him. Asher's love and affection for sara was selfless, unconditional, no blame game nothing but only one directional , that is sara's happiness, and sara's love for him was again directed for her happiness only, thats the difference.. OK.. i should log off before i write several essays now, i have an exam tomorrow, and i donno why i keep writing long essays when it comes to this man.. not like i will die and never get a chance...
