Everyone has put it very well here...two things stood out for me. Asher's little smile when he sees Hareem's picture in his office and later he already claiming Hareem's custody as soon as he set eyes on her. The possessive dad comes to play here.

no he was still socializing himself, atleast when it comes to his presence and suggestions, it was that he never had discussed and shared anything about his feelings or heartbreak with anyone, he made it look easy, calm and very smooth the way he coped up with his life, not letting any work being displaced and thats why sara and fareeda knew that he infact disconnected himself with happiness.. Raza on the other hand was always known to a workaholic Asher, and it was amazing how he had sensed Asher's restlessness, after 5 years, which was unusual, something unseen in him, and once again Asher pretending tto show that he was ok.

Asher visiting a friend's dad, yes that makes me assume he used to meet zareena also, and zareena would keep make him feel guilty about sara and her life.

ohh shreya, u snatched my words.. that lil smile on his face .. that shows that even if he was unsure about her being his dauhgter, but the fact that khirad had a lovely daughter, and he reflex was so blissful..

and did u notice, once he comes back to his office after meeting hareem, he will start tearing off all her reports and blood group reports too, bursting out in tears.. 16th episode first scene

sundas I am not talking about what Asher perceived and thought rather stating audience perspective about him saying that to khirad.

and frankly by now atleast I have reaised that both of us are not on same page about the character of Asher Hussian and how we perceive him. so lets just happily agree to disagree and say we do not share same thoughts. You think he was not much wrong and was as victimised as khiarda nad perfect husband, son, friend, lover and father and I would say, he was anything but a perfect husband. lover yes, father yes, son yes, friend yes too but he was never perfect as husband.

lets just say we are on different tracks and nevre going to find a common ground. hope no issues.

kyun spoiler de rahi hai mere favourite scne ka? I love love love Fk in that scne. was he acting or what? I loved ASher the father, toh ab uske liye I am going to write essays I guess. 😆

Yes thats my favorite scene. I simply love Fawad's crying scenes in HS. How can a man cry and yet look so hot?

yeah payal.. infact thats what i told in one of my posts that, him being a desirable husband is still arguementative, but him being victimised equally isnt a doubt, i feel he definitely was a victim too ..

and when it comes to audience, then there can always be a debate about who percieved him to be a hypocrite and him to be not ...

woh chor, i was not even in a condition to look at his good looks, i myself was bawling with him.. he can break my heart into pieces yaar.. 😭

all his crying scenes in HS are top notch, best has to be 22nd episode, handsdown.. 👏

yup that's why fiction content are being made too to have different perspectives from different people. I saw that him being perfect husband still being arguable post just now and I agree. 👍🏼

and to my friend who loves a fictional character so much- a virtual hug. the way you write for him, it seems you feel for him completely. so for that- 🤗
