A very good observation. I had the same question too. In ZGH, whenever he did that, Rafia used to say "jeete raho" so i assumed its done out of respect for the elders like we do a pao chuna. And the way Fawad does it is just adorable.😳

These few gestures to show respect to elders must be centuries old . Even i asked the same question when Zaroon bends a little his hand on his chest towards Rafia and then she blesses him . So whats the difference here and there . Same gesture i have seen SRK doing when reaching some elder ,to show his respect .

Congratulations for yours next AT . Brings lots of happiness and success in the name of FAK .

Yes,I read it somewhere that Muslims don't touch feet unlike Hindus but bow a little to show respect.

Hmm...I have never seen Muslims in India do that. Mostly seen them do aadaab to their elders. Not seen in films either. But maybe its practiced in some parts. Its a very nice gesture.

Another observation is mostly the actors playing parents are repeated. Already spotted Zaroon's mom and Abrar sir in HS. Sameena Peerzada I have spotted her in lots of shows on Zindagi.
But one good thing is despite actors repeating characterizations are changed.

I think its the channel who produces the shows and then hires the directors and has their own catorie of actors . But not ant actor playing any other character reminds the previous ones and this is called acting skills . Just met someone today who is very far from idiot box , was telling me that what a talented actors Pak dramas have as she is now watching the pak ones on Zindgi when gets time .

In muslims, what we actually do is dont touch feet but do bend and ask for blessings because its known that we dont bow down after anyone but Allah.. but i have seen many families who dont follow this unlike mine, sometimes people do touch feet of their elders, which is considered as wrong in Islam acc to my knowledge..
