He says he is in discussion with both bollywood and lollywood but he wants to do a movie in Pakistan and create some "dhoom-dhakara" there 😆😆

The devansh patel IV. Sucks to the core. I was feeling bad for Fk and that DP guy got on my nerves. This and KP's IV were the horrendous ones.

Another reason for low numbers seem to be the number of screens. The movie had so much buzz they at least should have gone for 1500 screens n not 900.

They promoted it so much I thought it will get a full blown 2000 screen release like other romcoms like 2States etc. Thats why everyone thought it will open big. It finally had 900 screen release. Many people wanted to watch the movie but couldnt due to it not playing anywhere closeby. Hence they ended up watching the pirated version.

Worst line of that interview was "Inko kahan se pakad or dhund ke laye" I don't remember exact words but something along the lines as if fawad is an object n of course here too the aunties get a special mention. I know those aunties name by now Mehr aunty and pammi aunty n bestest fren pernia qureshi😆

Special points I learnt from the interview: sonam like chocolate chip cookies and doesn't like being called chick

I was surprised too that it got only 900 screen release. I don't know who decides the number of screens whether UTV or producers but it was extremely stingy and underestimated on their part. After all this the movie has managed to do well for itself. The promotions were at the same level as 2 states for sure.

UTV usually knows what they are doing. They are good with smaller films as compared to other PHs. I would been have tempted to think YRF arm-twisted exhibitors if I didnt know UTV better. It seems to be a part of their strategy. But I wish they atleast released the movie in more plexes overseas.
