yes she loved him a lot, infact that was one kind of obsession, she loved whatever Asher loved, but then as we say karma is a bitch ...

@bold:- i strongly disagree here shanaya .. it should be oppsite, Asher gave her everything, his trust, his faith, his confidence, his dreams, his self believe, his guilt, sorry, despairness, he did give all to sara ... she couldn't give her honesty to Asher, her love was not honest, otherwise it was very cruel of her to enjoy the breakup when Asher was at death bed. who has the heart to do that ?

then again when he comes to ask for forgiveness, that scene was extremely painful, i cried there.. i felt so bad for both of them, that was his breaking point, it hurted him more than that off sara, it hurted him that probably he ruined her life while it was the other way round..

Naveen and Fawad shared some fab chemistry.. enuff said ...

@Hiral_Halwa Brilliant Job Gurl! 👏👏 I agree each and every word with you on Sara. She wasnt a typical vamp, the one we see in Indian-Sitcoms. Pathetic..🤢 She is a strong, sucessful working woman.. And I agree that it wasnt her fault that she thought Asher had feelings for her..They were vry close! Yesterday I and my frnd were talking about Sara and I felt that if any other gurl.. Let alone any other, If I wud have been there I wud be bound to react like this.. If I lovee a man more than anything and the fact we are soo close. If he gets married to another gurl I wud have surely reacted how Sara did.. What to say?? I love Naveen Waqar more than Mahira. Cuz It can be easy to play a positive character and loved by all but playing a grey shaded one and still loved is another thing. And I think Naveen is an actress of poweress! Eagerly waiting to see her in Humsafar! And regarding Khirad..Yes she was a strong character. I liked her in post-seperation scenes where she meets Asher a mother not his wife..

was watching the live transmission of humsafar, and naveen said there, that lot of people hated sara all along, but even they sympathized in the end of the series with her

I think her character is a very strong third angle - she isnt ur typical ghar pe baithke schemes banaane walli vamp...she has a life...she is a working woman, gives successful presentations, goes out to party, has friends, does yoga too, and her first attempt of suicide was shown, while she was watching a violent movie - beautiful direction!

infact i thot she had knack of understanding people a lot - she knew what a jackass khizar was...so she never gave him bhaav...even asher's mood - it was easy for her to gauge his mood - when he is upset, when he is angry...when he is happy

I personally feel its not her fault, that she fell in love with asher...in the very first epi, asher even complimented her for looking pretty - and they were very close - till the end they were close...I dono, any girl in place of her, would have felt the same, that maybe he too had feelings for her - though asher dint

now khirad - a very strong woman - strong character - I would say, for me a role model - I know and understand people when they say, they cant relate to khirad-asher...coz its not realistic...and honestly, thats why in a way, I idolize khirad...she is the ideal woman, who probably doesnt exist in real life...the eternal do gooder, the ideal wife, the strong mother, the one who stood up for her self respect..

she never complained about things in her life...but carved her way through it...such subtlety is remarkable...

yes the story is not extraordinary, but there is brilliance in the manner of storytelling...and character analysis...and there is such panache in asher-khirad's lovestory, I was crying buckets in the scene, when both were in the hospital and hoping for hareem to be fine, while the surgery was on - what a brilliant scene, both crying, both needing each other's support, khirad, almost wanting to put her head on asher's shoulder, asher almost wanting to hug her...but not able to...

@bold:- thats more because since childhood, Asher confided in sara .. he considered as one of the important ladies in his life, he would allow her to gauge his mood.. he really loves her, protects her, infact cares for her even more than she herself does for her..

i agree with the fact that sara always knew that khizaar was a jackass, and more worser than she had ever thought of him to be..

one of the traits what makes Asher fabulous as he is that he never blames/blamed anyone for whatever backstabbing he faced.. he was made to believe that khirad cheated on him, he did that silently, he didnt even complain about that, he was more like he was undeserving of her thus she left him. again when it came to sara, he could easily get off the blame game when zarina blamed him for sara's isolation, but he chose to go to her and side with her, ask for forgiveness. It takes a lot from a human being to be that much sensitive and giving when it comes to people around him and their wishes. He could never read ppl well, his biggest flaw and that is more because he himself is such a white person, his parents could blindly make him do anything, so was his friend, same goes with his wife or daughter.

Her and Asher's mother added more fuel to her obsession.. But I lyk Naveen Waqar!! She seems pretty and a good actress..❤️ Yes agree! They share a very mystified intense chemistry unlike the Cute chemistry of Fawad-Mahira. Yaar plz sumone cast them together! I want Fawad to work wid Naveen Waqar, Saba Qamar and Ayeza Khan in sum project together! All wud luk stunning.

Sara didnt deserve to die atleast, that much i am sure of.. she was immature and kiddish, and the two mothers, god should never bless any kid with mothers like fareeda and zarina.. both of them ruined Sara and Asher's life as much as they could and shamelessly blamed each other when they were unable to handle the consequnces..

sara somehow in her subconsicious level always knew that Asher would never love her back, esp when he was separated from khirad.. just how she could not move on from Asher, the same theory applied to Asher too, both needed somebody to fulfill their lonely life, and guess what they never allowed anybody or should i say never dared to give that position to anybody else which they had only reserved for each of their's only love.. that makes Asher and sara a lot similar..

Khirad i understand, she was over with Asher because she was dignified, she was not wrong, neither a cheater, and she rightfully moved on with her daughter, a very strong lady indeed.. Asher and sara failed to be emotionally strong, these thwo had their intilligence at toss when they were made and manipulated to do things which they probably never ever thought to do so, such as sara pretedning to love khizar and Asher made to believe that khirad abandoned him because he was uncapable to live upto her expectations..

i am dying to wtach saba qamar and fawad as a pair onscreen, after dastaan, i will always wish for this pairing ..

Im gonna watch It on Zindagi for the very first tym re! 😆 The fact that I know this much about the story is that I have heard about it from my Frnd who had finished watching it when it was initially aired..!! Back in 2012 I guess. And Yes.. We both love Naveen! :) I told you ki Sara's love was passionate but it was made into an ovsession by Her mother.. And Though she may be wrong in her motives but I personally feel that If I wud have been in place of her I wud have reacted the same wayy.. If I love a man so passionately and he ends up marrying another! It hurts yaar.. And that too a man wid whom Im since childhood!! Woh kehte hain na? Toot Ke Chahna? Sara's love for Asher is defined in this phrase.. Same goes for Asher, He had loved Khirad soo much that he neva was able to move on.. So Yeah! Asher-Sara were neva able to move on. Whereas Khirad had to be strong fr her daughters sake! I think the true worth of Mahira-Naveen as actresses came out in Post-Seperation scenes..

And Yes plz Sumone cast Saba-Fawad together plz? Directors/Producers/PH's are u listening?? 😆 Agree they played Aunt-Nephew in Dastaan but I lovedd their chemistry..❤️ Sundas chal agar budget hai toh hum dono milke khud hi koi series banate hain..🤣

post separation the show takes a boom and is top notch from every aspect .. i loved to see the tormented Asher, who suffered, who cried, who angered over his ego, everything ..

and his breakdown scene is fabulous, Fawad is just too good there.. Naveen and Mahira were outstanding too, and how beuatiful was their chemistry with Fawad..

shanaya, if i would be in sara's place, i would react in the same way, hate khirad, but not allow Asher to go thru whatever they made him to go thru.. it was cruel, as Asher asked his mom " main tou aap ka beta tha na " .. ouch it does hurt when someone whom you love and respect since ur birth backstabs like that ..
