No no competition at all I was just giving examples. It is just a healthy debate. That is what this forum is all about haina. I love Fawad and I too wish Khoobsurat does well and he rules Bollywood

Infact every news channel covering him in India now calls him Zaroon from ZGH because he has gotten the limelight in India post ZGH. That is also the reason why he is getting so much importance in Khoobsurat promotions.

I am happy because like any other fan happy he is getting noticed here.

my parents...my family...my friends all live in India. And they all know who Fawad is and they hardly watch TV. Agree he got fame in India post ZGH but he is a popular name now.
I am Indian but have no problem in admitting that these actors can never compete with FK.

I rest my case and don't wanna talk abt any other actor here n create any further problem.

Indian tv shows have a wider reach and viewership and I dnt mean any offense but that is the truth.

When our stars go abroad the fandom is just as crazy and huge.

I have traveled various countries so far and whatever I told u is from my personal experience.

Well leave it.

The way I see it:
- Fawad's fans shouldn't expect Khoobsurat to be the role he'll showcase his talent in.
- They shouldn't expect his role in Khoobsurat to be equal to Sonam's, the story isn't told that way.
- He chose this movie because the Kapoors are primarly producers & filmmakers. They are influencial in B-Town. So it's the best choice to work with them to test the waters & learn a lot from behind the scenes.
- + It's a Disney production, again excellent networking possibilities.
- Khoobsurat is a light movie, nothing that would cause outrage home or really upset his fans.
- The Kapoors are quite easing his way into B-Town by endorsing him the way they're. This will signalize to others that he got some "protection", they probably introduced him to their fellow filmmakers, I bet more is to come after the movie releases, especially if it is a success.
- Minimal risks for him. Whether the movie succeeds or not, he'll be the one to walk away with the biggest benefits. If it works, everyone will credit him first & if (God forbid) it doesn't, everyone will blame him last.
- He loses nothing.
- No one makes it in Bollywood without some kind of endorsement. He isn't necessarly equiped with the knowledge & social abilities to make it here, so it's wise to be associated with people who know & who actually will promote him because of his talent. We can say what we want about them, but the Kapoors do respect genuine talent imho.

Yes, Aisha wasn't handled well, but first home productions=first mistakes. Plus Sonam still went on & worked with Abhay in another movie, after all the emotions runned dry.

Fawad knew that Sonam is not the most talented actress out there, that the role would be a small one. He still went ahead & signed for it. If she/it was good enough for him, it's for me. He will have other opportunities to do serious drama. Maybe he wanted to do something fun & silly for a change!😉

SPOTTED: Fawad 'Fashionable' Khan

By IndiaTimes | August 20, 2014, 7:00 pm IST

The television heartthrob from Pakistan who is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Sonam Kapoor's Khoobsurat made quite a style statement during a recent round of promotions. Fawad was spotted wearing a stylish well fitted checkered blue shirt from Tommy Hilfiger along with shoes from Zara, a cardigan from Burberry and a belt from Canali.

FAWAD KHAN

Looks like here's one actor who really enjoys keeping it stylish and a good grip on the brands he wants to sport. Is it the Sonam Kapoor influence by any chance?

Eat your heart out ladies!

FAWAD KHAN

Chalo I hope Sonam eill not criticise his sense of style as she does for all others.

About Fk, I have nothing much to add. Better I keep my opinions to myself than writing paras after paras.
