Thnaks for sharing post the int here.

In conversation with #ZindagiGulzarHai actress #SanamSaeed

While Hindi movie buffs await the release of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's Bollywood debut Khoobsurat, his Zindagi Gulzar Hai co-star Sanam Saeed says "maybe" she would also agree to a film in India if a story interests her enough.

The two actors managed to garner a huge fan following with their performance in Pakistani show Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which was beamed on channel Zindagi - Jodey Dilon Ko, a first-of-its-kind initiative showcasing entertainment and content from that side of the border here.

Fawad's heightened popularity amongst the desi crowd was there for all to see on his recent visit when he came to the country to promote his Sonam Kapoor-starrer Khoobsurat.

Will Sanam agree to a Bollywood project if offered, now that she enjoys a decent fanbase?

"Maybe, if a story appeals to me and with some content that helps in bridging the gap (between the countries)," told Sanam.

She does not wish to hunt for work here.

"I'd like to make space (in Bollywood) without an agent. I want my sheer work to speak for my talent and it will be quite an achievement, I believe, if producers and directors look at my work and offer me something. I think for an actor, it will always be a great feeling," Sanam, 29, said.

The multi-faceted talent, who has been a model, video jockey, theatre artist, stand-up comedian and singer apart from being a TV and film actress, was born in Britain and shifted to Karachi with her family when she was six. She admits doing strong female-oriented parts attract her.

Even her choice of favourite Hindi film actresses include names like Shabana Azmi, Tabu and Vidya Balan, whose body of work boasts of bold and high on content projects.

"I like their style, it's more serious and organic as compared to actors are more into beauty and glamour," said the actress, who admits she is as "unromantic" in real life as her character Kashaf was in Zindagi Gulzar Hai.

I love her acting but at times she comes across as snobbish to try to take a dig at people who are her contemporary colleagues and trying to work here in India. She does not need an agent and wants her work to speak , fair enough but her putting the point like oh I am not going to hire an agent , sounds rude to me. This is not the first time, she once talked abput how Fk has right connections to get job here. No one is stopping her from making netwrk for her job too. And most of the people do like their work to speak for themselves. Regarding Fk, he surely has a great track record of WORK to rely upon to get noticed by ph here. May be she likes to give opinions as a blunt view without thinking much. But politeness does matter, atleast to me.

She is a terrific actress and no one can take that credit from her.and her work make her greater superstar than her contemporaries. Hope she stops trying to take digs at other people to put herself up at pedestal.

I know many of her fans will not like my comment. But her replies just forced me to think she was repeatedly trying to take a potshot at her colleague.no offence intended to her fanbase.

I respect ur POV.
But I didn't find anything rude in saying that she doesn't want any agent to get into films and her taking dig at her contemporaries specifically Fawad is seamless because she herself knows his popularity and she has acknowledged it twice from the IVs I have read of hers so far.
Not trying to indulge in any fight, just stating my POV:-)

I amalso not indulging or instigating any fight. Its stroctly my pov as I find it unnecessary of her to mention that oh Fk has vwry good connections while wishing him luck. Irrelevant to the context of question being asked. But all are entitled to their opinions and decipher as an individual. We are civil enough to put our points as politely as possible. I do aprreciate her as an actor but her constant nagging about that networking and agent hiring put me off. Thats it. Peace.
