ZND plays a prank on angad for his b-day-ARTICLE

Television actor Angad Hasija, Alekh form STAR Plus's Sapna Babul ka – Bidaai, is for the first time celebrating his birthday working. The star who turns 26 today reveals that this is the first year he is going to be working on his birthday. Earlier, he would make it a point to take an off or be free to spend time with his family.

He will be shooting for the Star Parivaar Awards tonight. We spoke to him about his plans and he said, "I don't have any plans. I'm shooting for the Star Parivaar Awards today. I'm really excited as I have a dance sequence with Malika Arora. It's a great feeling to be dancing with such a great star in front of a live audience and that too, on my birthday. This is the best gift STAR could have ever given me. And my wife and daughter will be there to watch me as well. It's a great feeling!"

Sources have informed that Angad celebrated his birthday a few days back on the sets of Zara Nachke Dikha too. So how was his experience? He says, "It was the most memorable birthday ever. It was a surprise; they pulled a prank on me. The judges announced that all those who have got a perfect score till now on the show will have to perform an impromptu act and the first name that Shilpa Shetty announced was mine. I was really scared and nervous because they had also said that if one fails to perform well in this round, you would be eliminated from the show. So the song began and I did my best to dance decently, make up steps and everything and suddenly the song changed and they started playing 'Happy Birthday' and then I saw them bringing the cake and everyone came to the stage to me. It was a special moment. I was really touched to see that they care so much for me."

Just like his on-screen character, Angad in real life too is a very devoted and loving husband. We asked him about what his wife has planned for his birthday and what did she gift him? To this, he replied, "Pari gave me hand-made cards and flowers. She loves doing these small sweet things that makes me feel so special and blessed." Such a sweet husband na?

We also told him that all his fans were super excited about his birthday and have sent him their best wishes. One of his fans, Fabiha, has posted a comment on the Zara Nachke Dikha official website. The post read, "Happy Birthday Angad! Wish your birthday be full of happiness and wish you success in Zara Nachke Dikha, Bidaai and for your whole life." Another fan, Zeshan's comment said, "Congratulations! Many many happy returns of the day! May you live long. All the best. I like you so so much!" to these wishes, Angad only politely and modestly replied, "Thank you so much for your wishes and support. I'm really grateful for all the wishes of my fans and I hope they keep supporting me and keep praying for me always. I really need their love and prayers."

And what would he like to tell them as Alekh? He says, "Thanks for all the support and love. I've achieved whatever I have today because of all these people's support. I'm thankful to them and God for my success."
