is it sheer talent or pure coincidence or ehem ehe

we all know the mohan sisters were a part of three diferent reality shows in quick succession.

shakti was a former student of terrence hence her entry into DID was easy although yeah she has talent.

neeti was chosen among thousands in shankar's team in music ke maha muqabla. she was a below-average singer who even forgot the lyrics in a song which let to a huge showdown between shaan and the other judges. how she got into that show being a average singer is a HUGE singer.

next we have mukti mohan who is a participant in ZND 2. while every other contestant has proved himself/herself (siddhesh was a finalist in DID 1 while the other are celebrities, mukti is neither) the king again wonders how she is selected and on what basis. if it is because she is a talented dancer then how come only she got the chance.

now is this sheer talent that they got selected ( which definitely is not the case atleast in case of neeti) or pure coincidence but can tht be three times or does Mr. Mohan have good contacts that his daughter can join a team of celebrities even though she is unknown.

I was going to ask the same question but felt it would be rude.
I feel Shakti is the best dancer on the girls team, but on what basis was she selected as she is not a celebrity (in my eyes at least). She was highlighted as being a Mohan Sister.
Shakti, in DID, deserved it. She was a good dancer, so she deserved to go on.
Neeti, imo isnt that good a singer but isnt that bad either, but obviously industry members disagree. She sang the hindi version of Camp Rock songs with her band Asma, as well as singing back up for Remix (on Star One). She was selected for MKMM and went on to win, although I feel that was mainly because of the team she was placed in, I didnt really follow the show. Can you please post when she forgot the lyrics?

this is the video where she 4got the lyrics. firstly she hardly had any lines in the song as most of the lines were sung by the male singer. even the couple of lines she was to sing she 4got it. she forgets at 3:05 seconds. but rahul vaidya shows wonderful presence of mind and handles the situation.

wow....i just loved that performance....gotta love rahul vaidya.......i remember watching that and going wth.........i think that shakti and mukti are very talented but am not too fond of neeti.....and during the course of mkmm i felt that they could have picked a better singer instead of neeti in shankar's team....she just lucked out...and yeah it is pretty surprising that three mohan sisters all made it to three different shows in the same year...pretty amazing

I had seen this performance in MKMM and its one of my favourite performance ...Rahul vaidya was superb in it and i m ust say he is not only a wonderful singer but a wonderful performer. Neeti i think she wasnt as good as other singers. I always considered her as a weak link in the shankar's team.

A very controversial post 😆 ..Shakti was good in DID but neeti i doubt she got ahead so much only cuz of sheer talent..there are scores of talented singers than neeti who crave to get a chance to sing with a r rehman.n now mukti getting a chance in ZNKD despite of not being a known face..i am sure the mohans have good contacts in the industry...

Shakti totally rocks...but somehow I didn't like Neeti and her singing much. I saw Mukti a long time ago in one of Saroj Khan's videos...she got a chance to dance on Madhuri's song....here is the video....
