"It was very challenging performance for me but dancing is in my blood!" said Amey, adding that his success came from hard work. "I did practice a lot," he said, but added that he had a premonition of what was to come: "I had this feeling that I will do it well."
So did his spending a lot of time practicing come at the expense of studies? No, says Amey emphatically. "I have exams coming up so could not pay as much attention to my practice as I would have liked. However I managed to practice in bits and pieces. And it came out well."
Given flying kisses by girls and even the judges, Amey was overwhelmed by the response his act got. "They were completely stunned; and I was riding on cloud nine. It was really special moment of my life," he said, "It was very professional and unexpected from me. But I made it so clear to every one; I am the smallest but one of the smartest "Chota Tej Talwar" from boys' team!"
Asked if he treated this as work or as play, Amey said: "For me it's fun and I enjoy doing this! I don't want to rest. I just want to scamper, so that I can catch up with my dreams. If I rest now I think I will loose the game. So I always think of winning."
So what's his dream? "My dream is to reach on top and to be a renowned actor worldwide. And ZND has set me flying high. I am really enjoying being one of the contestants."
