So I've been watching this show...and I would like to know your opinions on the songs that are being used for this show and for the dances.
I think the intro songs for the guys and girls were really good and well suited and different...
but I think some of the actual competition songs could've been better off.
Since this show has no audience voting and neither does it have singing the popularity of songs shouldn't matter right?
I think Jennifer's song for Tashan was really nice and a classic--hasn't been used before.
Also the duo round--Zara Hatke was nice too---I liked how they used Appu Raja it gave a different feel to the dance.
I think Vikas' s song was okay--dil mein baji guitar..I'm just a little tired of hearing it everywhere...
Also the duo song was Great--choli ke peeche kya hai...so that was good.
The Hum Tum round was good too...but I didn't like the song too much...there wasn't much for the girl to do that's probably why Mouni scored lower in that round. 😳
Next the performance round for the guys and girls were amazing...it was done very well. Nice concepts.
For the lagi bet round--the guys song (Dhoom Again)was overdone and overused that's probably why the moves and style didn't match that much. I think the girls song(Aashiqui mein teri) was very good especially with the added beats!
For the Khalaas round I think they should've used ACTUAL Bhangra songs...I was disappointed with the song choice and I think both didn't capture the TRUE essence of bhangra enough due to the song choices.
For this week I think the Tashan songs were great and the zara hatke songs were good except that the Jeene Ke Hai Char din (I'm soooo sick of that song!) 😆
The performance songs were extraordinary and so were the Hum tum songs...the best songs of the whole show so far.
For the lagi bet round the song choice for the guys was good (but too fast) it's really hard for non-professional dancers to get the beat to that song. The song for the girls was wrong...if they were doing a Pop style dance they could've used Move Your Body (Johnny Gaddar).
Also for the Lagi bet round I think Mouni should've danced to Mere Dholna(Bhool Bhulaiya) I think she would've been EXCELLENT in that song.
So those are my views...what do you guys think? What song selection would you have given/chosen? 😳
