They should've incorporated some KarVi flashbacks. It may've actually helped the show get higher trps.A popular Tamil series I had watched took a leap of around 20 something years, leading to the exit of the original lead. The original lead was very popular among the audience, and they shared great onscreen chemistry- we later found out they got married in real life too š³. The news of the leap did not go so well, especially since it meant the loss of our favourite onscreen pairing. They even got two new young and popular faces to play the new lead, but what I found to be a smart move made by the makers was the incorporation of scenes of the original lead when ever they could find the chance. This move kept the original audience satisfied and from there the show, post leap built on the momentum and made their own mark, after a couple of months they stopped showing old scenes of the old lead, because audience began to accept the new lead. šThe same happened post the 8 year leap in YVR. YVR should've incorporated more scenes with KarVi/SonKush prior to their marriage and made the track up until the Simmi/Survi reveal to be somewhat longer to give us time to see Kartik develop feelings for Survi and for Survi to breakaway from the image of her being a kid in Kartik's eyes. We should've also had more scenes between Kartik before the marriage drama- all of this would've helped in building KarVi up and made the jump from Kartik being mad at Survi to loving her in a blink of an eye less superficial š Sadly we did not get all of the above, yet we were able to accept and route for KarVi because of the continued flashbacks in which we saw Kartik and young Survi's friendship, which made older Survi and Kartik's relationship more acceptable.I don't think Zee TV was planning on keeping YVR on-air post the leap. If they had they would have invested more in the story, promotions and the over layout of the series. All they did was get the actors' hopes up high, along with their fans. I am still disappointed Krishna Soni, the man who played older Kartik wasn't given more screen time- he truly should've been the lead of the show- making Kushi the lead was a wrong move, especially since the character and the portrayal was not up to par with the original Kushi we had fallen in love with. Sonal is a great actress and I do believe she could have pulled off a Kushi that was more like Kartik and less like Survi.

Italics: I think I know what series you are talking about, They remade it into a Telugu serial recently. It's called Raja Rani. šBold: When Sonal entered as Survi it helped how they inserted scenes of Roshi and Ankush as KarVi. It helped us accept Sonal as Survi. When Harbandana entered as KarVi's daughter they did the same, by inserting young KarVi scenes to show the similarities of Kushi and Survi and to help us see that bond that KarVi/KarShi share. It helped us accept Kushi as KarVi's daughter and helped us see the part of Survi Kushi had in her (something that was needed, because all my mom and I saw was Kartik in that little girl's portrayal of Kushi š). The flashback scenes really did make the show better, and kept it together. The lack of KarVi/KarShi/KarViShi flashback scenes really hurt the second season. It disconnected it from the original, and not in the good way. š„±

@ Bold YOu & your mom weren't the only ones Luxmi.I am with you in that I could see Khushi taking after her father more.Like how in the first episode she talked like how Kartik used to about how with all her schoolwork, she can't find the time to eat & ends up getting headaches. That was Kartik in the initial episodes. Also in how Kartik himself reamrks in one of the episodes about how he could feel Khushi was her carbon copy. And tbh I loved that.Considering how much I like Kartik's character, for me it was lovely to see another junior Kartik šš³

I loved seeing kartik in kushi too. The whole "carbon copy" dialogue was one of my favourite scenes. I wish we could've had more scenes with KarShi, with Kushi shown to have Kartik wrapped around her finger šI was hoping for so much more KarVi, where we could've seen their differing parenting styles and the arguments they came across because of it š³ Kushi going behind Survi's back with the help of Kartik would've have been pureThe YVR team did a lovely job setting up KarVi, KarShi, and KarViShi... I just wish they had more of an opportunity to explore their characters and their relationships more... all three actors did a fantastic job in making their little onscreen family so believable and lovable š I especially admire Ankush and Sonal for being able to portray such mature roles at a very young age, at the beginning of their careers. SonKush truly worked really well together š³ Zee TV, if you are listening, you should really consider investing more into this duo as a pair- I am sure their popularity and yours will only grow if done right on your end š

SonKush were the best. To go from a young married couple to a mature pair of parents was a joy to watch. I just wish we had more of them on our screen together.Bold: I second that, Zee TV bring KarVi/SonKush back! Please š³
