The episode starts with Kartik attempting his best to impress survi, but she sticks to her decision to not to budge. He gets pissed at last, then silently apologise. She throws him out. After a while she hears a knock on door. She expects kartik has come again, but actually it's Tai. She begins her old drama of being concerned for her son, begging her to return in his life with khushi, else he'll be broken forever. Survi gets irked and appalled by her ranting. Hence, she asks her to go and send kartik, so that she can close this chapter.
Here, as kartik is pacing around, worrying for Survi's approval. Tai comes and tells him that survi is ready and asks him to go inside. he smirks. Later, he arrives inside, and she drops the bomb that she's going out of India and taking his khushi with her too. Kartik reacts and says vehemently that he did everything she wanted but she's being stubborn like this. He blurts out exasperatedly that he wants to forget everything and move on, though it's entire her fault. She is relieved that his mask has fallen off and chides him for pretending. He snaps back saying its good now that she know the truth and he'll shall take her khushi away from her, if she doesn't agree to come to his place. He walks off leaving an appalled survi behind.
Later, khushi returns with Jatin. They're concerned to see, survi, crying and broken. She tells about kartik's reality and khushi is shocked. Jatin asks Survi to come with him and not give her troubles to khushi. But Survi is adamant to let khushi know the reality. She explains everything starting from her pregnancy and why they became separated. Khushi is sad to hear this.
Kartik gladly comes back in Barve mansion and shares what happened at Survi's home. They are happy to see him happy. Tai and pyare smile evilly knowing what to come. Meanwhile, khushi comes with Survi. Kartik is overjoyed to see her. He asks Lata to get the thali and welcome khushi. Tai says that she'll do it. After welcoming in, kartik rushes to hug khushi but she stops him. All stares being shocked.

Precap: Khushi asks Kartik about everything Survi has told her about him, and if this is true. Kartik is speechless and tensed.
