The episode begins with KarShi convo continuing... an upset survi tells jatin they hv to go to khushi's school for a PTA meeting... an indirect signal for kartik to leave their place... an angry kartik leaves in a huff...
Survi breaks down... jatin tries to pacify her.. tells her by doing all this she's hurting herself more than anyone else... survi says she doesn't want to lose khushi this time around... at any cost...
Recalling the events, a visibly disturbed kartik is driving like a nut case... as if wanting to commit suicide... driving at high speed he fails to manoeuvre the car on sighting a hand cart and crashes into a pavement...
At barve mansion tai n pyaare feel all is lost... pyaare dreams of begging on the streets of Mumbai with tai in tow... he gets one more across his face from tai... meanwhile the telephone rings... obviously it's d ominous news of d accident...
Even jatin gets a call regarding Kartik's accident who in turn informs survi... survi is shattered n makes a dash for d hospital...
Entire barve family n survi r at the hospital... doctor allows them to meet kartik.. he's lying on d bed with an arm in sling and a leg in cast... he apologises to survi ki the wedding will hv to be postponed for a month... tai n lata are nasty wid survi for it.. kartik asks them to calm down... even jatin comes along with khushi... kartik says sorry to her as well... khushi promises him ki she would come to meet him every single day... the doctor asks everyone to leave... before leaving khushi writes Get Well Soon on his cast...
Back home jatin fakes it's time for celebrations coz kartik will lie low in hospital bed for a month... he says he deserves all of it.. n that he would hv prayed to the Lord for breaking both his legs so that he would stay put at the hospital for two months instead of one...
Survi is aghast n asks jatin not to speak so... that's when jatin in all seriousness tells her "kahi soya hua pyaar phir se jaagne nai laga Na survi"... he tells survi ki kartik is doing all behuda harkatein coz he loves her... n she's putting up with all his shit coz she loves him... as a friend jatin again tells survi to speak to kartik n clear all the misunderstandings... he tells her "agar thoda jhuk bhi jao pyaar ke liye toh toot nai jaogi" ... if u recall all the bad instances u vl only c him in bad light... think of all the good things he has done for you...
Survi decides to clear things up with kartik n goes to the hospital with tiffin for him... meanwhile kartik calls her up from d hospital room.. apologises to her... asks her if khushi is awake... if yes toh he tells her to bring khushi to the hospital coz he wants to spend sometime with her... he says all this while nicely moving around d hospital room .. removing his hand from the sling.. completely unaware of survi standing right behind him... so survi catches his bluff n says he's doing all this to steal her daughter which he again answers in affirmative... survi says he made a mistake by bringing up d topic again..
Precap: to call off Kartik's bluff survi feeds him something extremely spicy which has him running around d room for water... an agitated kartik asks her what she intended to do n realises it was a trap laid by survi
