The episode starts with Kartik lighting a lamp in the temple when he gets a call from the police. They say that he needs to come to the railway station because the kidnapper was seen there. He says that he'll reach there.

Meanwhile the kidnapper reaches the station, then sits in the same train that survi is travelling in. Survi watches the baby, oblivious that it her own, as the baby cries, she points it to the kidnapper. he says that she is meant to cry for her life because her mother died giving birth to her. survi is appalled. Kidnapper asks her to hold her while he'll just get her milk. Meanwhile kartik arrives at the platform. The kidnapper places the baby in survi's arms and gets down the train. When kartik approaches the compartment, he hears the sound of his baby crying. But just when he turns, someone comes in the way, and he is unable to see. He leaves with the inspector. Here the kidnapper is held by disguised Tai, who shows him how kartik is here with the police. The kidnapper is scared. She tells how she overheard when kartik got police's call hence she is here to alert him, else her plan will be exposed. He tells her what happened to the babe when asked, and says that he'll get her. Tai asks him to let the child be with the lady, who will ultimately give the child to the orphanage and save himself from the police. She thanks God as what she wanted did happen. As the train starts moving, survi starts getting upset. Everytime, meeting of kartik and survi is stopped by fate, as someone keeps stepping in between their eyesight. Srikant is worried for the baby's father as he already lost the wife, now he can't lose baby too. He suggests that they must give her to the police, so that they give her back to the father. Survi says that she will go down and look for him. He asks her to hurry as it's time for the train to depart. Survi steps down.
Meanwhile, the kidnapper is about to leave, covered with shawl, when kartik's stops him. Before he can lift the blanket, the kidnapper escapes. kartik runs after him. survi too hears his screams being on same platform. The kidnapper passes by and kartik following him bumps into survi. They embraces each other awkwardly. Between the chaos, kidnapper manages to flee. police continues their search while kartik is enraged. He rushes inside and confronts survi that she gave him another wound, as she let the kidnapper escape for the second time. survi is distraught. He says that he feels like ending it all. She asks what's left to be ended as everything is over. He says that she is right as everything has turned to ashes and asks her to never show her face ever again and be out of his life for good. As he begins to go, his handcuff entangles in her dupatta. Kartik turns around and snaps the handcuff away. Tai watches it smirking from a distance. They go on separate ways. Survi is sad recalling Kartik's rude behaviour, however she boards the train. Tai watches with satisfaction that she separated kartik and survi and now she needs to go back to Barve mansion to rule again. srikant asks survi what to do now as the train has started and the father seems not to be concerned for the babe. He says that they will hand her to the police at the next station, as that would be the right thing to do. Right then, the child grabs survi's cloth tightly. She takes the babe in her arms and says that she wouldn't allow her to go anywhere. She says solemnly when she has lost her own baby but now on this baby will be a new motive and direction to live on. Survi tells srikant that she lost her biggest relation today, but, God gave her a new. She goes on that a promise tied her to kartik 14 years back and today she promises to god that she'll raise this baby as her own, and give her the name that kartik wanted to give to their baby, Khushi. She says that khsuhi will bring back happiness in their lives, and that people do get relations in life but rare are those who get life in their relations. Srikant agrees with that. Survi kisses khushi's forehead affectionately.

Precap: After a leap of 7 years, Survi is praying in front of God with khushi that had her own child been alive today she'd have been the same age and that this khushi might be someone else, but still she feels her as her own.
On the other hand, kartik is living with Tai who has again revamped herself in a new avatar. He tells tai that he is going to nasik and will return by the evening. He recalls its khushi's birthday today and gets happy. Here, survi too wishes khushi a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Khushi thanks her. At Nasik, Kartik prays at the temple that his khushi might not be there with him but she's still in his heart. Just then, survi passes by with khushi, on the scooty, and stops behind kartik. kartik instinctively feels something.
