The episode starts with Kartiik taking survi back to their room and assuring that now everything will be alright. He shows her a beautifully decorated nursery which he has made for their child. Survi is overwhelmed and they hug each other.
After 6 months leap:
Survi in her full blown pregnancy, is looking for something when kartik comes and teases her showing the pickles that she is looking for. She tries to take, but he doesn't give. Shr fakes getting cramps and as he rushes to her, she snatches the pickles jar away from him. Kartik smiles then gifts her a necklace of lord ganesha for their child. Survi is completely pampered. One day, kartik is about to get to the office, when he doesn't find survi. The girls inform him that she is working in the kitchen. They both get him to talk to survi about this. Tai asks him to let her do the work, as this is good. But he doesn't listen and rushes to the kitchen. He asks her whats this and why is she working when she needs to rest. She says that it isn't much hard. But he isn't willing to listen to her. She says that with his care, she'll fatten up. Kartik says that he'd love her like that way also. They start romancing again. He turns to leave for office, as she says that she'll come right out. She gets stuck in her saree and falls on the ground, flat on her stomach, and cries out in pain. Kartik is stunned and quickly picks her up. tai asks him to first get her medical attention. They rush her to the hospital.
As survi is in labour pain in the hospital room, all wait nervously outside. Tai asks kartik not to worry as everything will be alright. He says that he is tensed because she fell on her stomach. The nurse doesn't respond as she keeps going in and out of the labour room. srikant too comes and tries to calm kartik down, adding that the lord will keep everything okay. kartik prays to God for help. At last the doctor comes out and relieves them all by saying that survi is fine and has given birth to a daughter. All gets happy hearing this great news. Kartik enquires if she can meet his wife. The doctor says that she is unconscious, but when she comes back to senses, he can. He asks doubtfully if survi is fine. She assures that everything is fine but as the baby is premature, she has to be kept 24 hours in observation. kartik asks raghu to distribute sweets galore throughout the hospital. He then starts showering money and gifts on the nurse, ward boys and attendants and requests the doctor if he can meet his daughter for 2 minutes. He assures that he won't even touch her but just look from afar. The doctor complies and sends him in with the nurse, wherein he finally sees his child in the incubator. He is overwhelmed emotionally to see her through the glass. He tells that he'll be not only her father, but her best friend also, and will give her all the happiness in the entire world, and shall relive his long lost childhood with her. He names her as khushi, because she brought that in their lives. He promises that his life starts and ends with her then leaves.
In her ward, survi gets sense and is worried not seeing her baby. kartik comes in, and informs that they are having a wonderful girl. He thanks her for fulfilling his dream. She begs to be taken to the nursery. He says that he will after the doctor permits. Survi then asks how she looks like. He describes every single feature, as to how she resembles survi. Later, the doctor inspects, and tells the survi is absolutely normal, and can meet her baby. Kartik picks her up in the arms ignoring survi's protest, saying that he is her husband after all, and has to the right to do this. Hearing he has already named the child, survi fumes. After Kartik explains the reason of naming her khushi, she too likes the name. As he carries her out in the arms, the entire family is surprised to see them like this. Raghu takes a snap to make it memorable. Survi feels embarrassed. She gets down and then everyone congratulates wishes her. With the entire family, kartik takes her to the Lord Ganesha's idol where they thank him for this wonderful gift, and survi requests him to forever keep her daughter and her husband safe. Kartik blindfolds her, saying that it's needed if she wishes to see her baby. Survi complies happily.
Meanwhile, a wardboy enters with an empty wheelchair in the nursery and picks up the babe.
As kartik closes her eyes, and then takes her to the nursery, survi begs for the eyes to be opened. Kartik is shocked to see the cradle is empty. He hollers for the nurse, and asks her where is his daughter. The nurse says that maybe the doctor took her. He assures survi that nothing will happen to khushi before going to get the doctor. Survi tearfully watches the empty cradle.
Precap: Kartik gets a call and hears the cries of the baby. The kidnapper asks ransom of 5 crores and orders to bring money to a said place. kartik and survi arrive at the said designation but armed with police. The kidnapper points gun at the baby being raged. survi is aghast. He says that his babe as well as his money will waste because of this oversmartness.
