The episode starts with Tai shouting at Ranbir, when he proposes that he'll bear the losses and also swears that she will pay back very soon. He cuts her off saying that he isn't a humanitarian and not doing any favor, as he has done this for his sister and her husband, kartik. They are all shocked. He adds that he has taken care of every debt, but now she needs to leave the house immediately with her family. Tai begs to be allowed to stay but Bindu and Hema suggest taking money and leaving quietly.

Here, meher says to her brother that she apologized what he wanted but he hasn't done anything to ensure that kartik will marry her. Ranbir assures her that he'll get her forehead donned by kartik's vermillion within next 10 days and that as per his statement; he'll leave survi and always be by her side, so that she sees him every second in front of herself. She is overjoyed hear9ng his words. She asks what if survi wishes to see kartik. Ranbir says that he can get him here anytime. He says that he wants her to be healthy and sane, till by the time of marriage. Meher promptly becomes ready to do everything he asks her. He asks her to rest. Then as he turns to go, she comments that this is her in-laws home and makes him promise that he'll be in front of her eyes always. Outside, Granny asks Ranbir why he is doing this evil. He says that he knows but has to do this. Granny asks why. He says that everything is survi at the core; hence he needs to teach survi a lesson, by making her understand her fault and getting kartik start his life here with meher. Meanwhile, Meher is dreaming about her marriage with kartik, and shows her marital name to ranbir. He says that he has a surprise too, and then gives her the ring that belonged to their mother. He feeds her and then she falls asleep on his lap.

Outside, Tai beats pyare for what happened to her. Kishore then tries to make her realise that this is God's signal for her to apologize to kartik. She snaps at him and asks him not to ever give advice again. She says that she might have been suffering but she never accepts defeat so she is gonna teach everyone lesson.

Here, Survi finds kartik tensed and asks him what's wrong. He says that he's thinking about Ranbir who doesn't need to apologize, but still he came back and apologized like a gentleman. she asks how can they explain that a girl who was madly in love with him, suddenly agrees to her brother's demands. kartik reminds that as per her words meher's brother will set everything correct and asks her not to over think, as everything will be okay soon. Meanwhile, kartik too promises to always be by survi's side. Later he takes survi out for a surprise and then makes her sit in front of the mirror keeping her eyes closes. He puts earrings on her ears and she sees that its those same earrings, the Ganesha types. He says admiringly that it's their first gudi padwa after marriage, so they should celebrate. He also promises that he'll give her gold jewelry next year. Survi happily agrees. Kartik is shocked to know that Ranbir bought their entire factory and company too. He then breaks down in front of Srikant weeping that everything that he had built by hard work is over now. He curses that he left it all in Tai's hands but she ruined it. Survi says that they should help tai and family as they are kin, even after what she did. Kartik says agreeing that they'd be the mature and higher thinking mentality ones. He says that he came here only for Tai's help, not for love for tai, as with great difficulty, he has managed to get back his life but now he won't risk it.

meher imagines her wedding with kartik.while she hears a doorknock. She gets up irately and yells who's there. Tai enters and apologizes for coming without notice. She yells at her then asks why she came here for. Ranbir appears and reprimands Tai for disturbing his sister. Tai says that she has come to ask for help. He offers money but she refuses and says that she'll stay in one corner with her family. Ranbir says no. But meher asks him to let her stay as she has to work as a maid. Tai is shocked. ranbir asks her to arrange for his sister's roka.

Precap: Meher says to Survi today is her roka then how dare she keep Kartik here. She becomes historic and says that she won't bear it and asks if he'll leave Survi or not. Kartik retorts back that he will never leave survi. She alerts that she won't let him be Survi's too then stabs him in the stomach.
