That makes sense. Nivi telling him asmita is puchki, with nivi thinking he has broken off all ties with puchki not knowing he knew she was puchki all along, but obviously Shaan can't tell nivi that because maintaining his adarsh beta image in front of majumdar's is important, so like the two faced person he is, he will pretend like he never knew asmita is puchki just to maintain majumdar family's trust in him. 🤢
