In a way Takumma's path crossed with Arpita this week. For Takumma being in charge of the brother was more important than being a mother. Hence Beauty was also brought into the flesh trade. But for Arpita yes she was forced into that trade by her husband. But she will fight to save her daughter from that fate. Her child wont be the property of SonaGachi. By walking over the fire she just made her intention clear. She will again raise her leg to flee from that place for the sake of her daughter.
In a way we saw Arpita did fight. She took the risk of taking Puchki out with stories. And she succeeded too. Though they were brought back Beauty couldnt sell Puchki to the foreigners.
Now the problem Arpita faces with Puchki is Shantanu. The five year old Puchki doesnt understand when they grow up Shantanu is not needed in that place, but she is needed. She wants to go back to Shantanu. And if today Arpita landed again in Sonagachi it is because Puchki's craze for Shantanu.
Promo shows how the grown up Shantanu turns away from Puchki. I really feel that will be the turning point for Puchki. That will be the reality check for Pucki to understand her mother. What her mother was fighting for, from her childhood. The person for whom she left the hand of her mother has left her hand.
In a way destiny will play that joke with Puchki the very same way Arpita landed in that brothel. Betrayal by her husband. We need to see how Puchki will fight the battle. Because all said and done how much ever Arpita fights, Puchki's bond with Shantanu keeps her in Sonagachi itself. If she has to fight her way out, she has lose that hand. Shantanu's hand. Only then she will fight the battle to make Arpita win.
