All her devious schemes from then on, aiming to backstab Abir and Mishti are absolutely unforgivable.

What is the argument here? We're basically saying the same thing. She did this to herself and that is why I wanted Varsha to step in.

IMO, Kunal is useless. Har aadhe ghante mein Abir aur Mishti ko uska reboot button dabaana padta hai.

Schemes and backstabbing? I wouldn't call it that. Yes, indirectly wahi ho raha hai but that is the collateral damage of entering the dal dal that is family business ka batwaara.

Trp dip is due to various reasons but time slot change pressure was the biggest one according to me.

If the TRPs were atleast above 1.6 we would have got some alternate tracks other than baccha jaap for sure. It all felt so rushed.

She could never be good enough because she WASN'T, simple as that. She never tried, she always competed with Mishti, mostly she has used underhand methods to achieve her goals, sometimes those underhand methods worked against her and hence Mishti INADVERTENTLY got the limelight.

And Kuhu clearly doesn't want a divorce so why will she go to her family and cry. BP had promised her that Mah house is always open to her. She made this decision knowing everything but she STILL chose the wrong path. Even most recently, when Mish ran away, BP told her to come to him immediately if anyone tried to hurt her as well in RJV house.

Also, are you turning a blind eye when she actually walked out of Mah house, using her brains for a change? Which means she is aware she doesn't have to do this and YET she agreed, seemingly for her husband, but that's clearly not true anymore. If you would still want to believe otherwise, do so. I can't say more than this.

Oh god! People need to stop assuming that understanding Kuhu's motivations equals justifying her actions. Those are two different things.

I have a feeling we're going to go in circles because our views of the show are similar yet different.

Anyway, just to add to the real life thing, I don't know if that was supposed to be a dig at me along with Kuhu or not, but I would like to clarify, I have the most amazing women in my life as well and it's great that you do. Those women are the reason I try and understand a character like Kuhu to such an extent because everyone has a story for behaving the way they do. Also, when you realise how much of it and what all is exaggerated to add drama to the show, you know what parts to take at face value and avoid, and which ones to analyse for in depth understanding.

I don't mean to cut in but I just wanted to say that i don't know your tolerance level in real life but condoning acts like Kuhu's is only possible if you have a weakness for a near and dear one. I've turned a blind eye many a times too. I am more impersonal when it comes to fiction(even when I fall in love with select characters) and believe that the best part of reading novels and watching shows/films is making a subsequent in depth analysis. I watch and judge capricious ITV shows on an episode by episode basis because you never know how the story or the character arc changes like in the case of YRHPK. I have also judged Kuhu on that basis and have written long posts in her defense when I believed her to be right. Even one throwing a sympathetic light on why she is like this. (If I have the time to search, I can send you the links if you choose not to believe.)

I have done the same with my favourite characters as well. I call a spade a spade when I have to. And today specifically (not digging up the past), Kuhu was wrong! Utterly! There is nothing to justify this behaviour. She is not even thinking of Kunal, which seems to be your basis to justify her in all your posts today.

And coming to exaggeration, the basic nature and underlying thoughts behind her actions cannot be magnified. Only the screenplay and audience reactions can. Her deeds, even if summarised in plain and simple words by any of us viewers, are alarming. And that's that.

The fact that she is thinking of family business ka batwara and paisa and vasiyat and status and what not is only so wrong in the first place! She hasn't understood or appreciated the gems she has around her! Instead, she chooses to find a role model in Meenu! Worst example ever! If she wanted to think and plan so far ahead, didn't she see Meenu dying one day or does she also assume Meenu is immortal?

And how is she not backstabbing Abir if she is also asking for his share?! What right does she have to do that? Asking for Kunal's is different but asking for Abir's?

And her intentions are not even that pure as proved today. There is a lot more than she is planning which is disproportionate to everytime she has been "wronged" in her life.

Thanks for the link. I think I've read this before. I had a lot of counter points then but I decided I didn't want to get into an argument on a team Kuhu thread. And even here, I choose to refrain from doing so because we will only reach a stalemate.

Anyway, nice talking to you and I always appreciate contradictory views on fictional characters. Like pro Snape, anti Snape(if you're also an HP fan like me or just ignore this line). As of now, I have nothing more to add on today's discussions.
