If only Kuhu was a guy, she would get probably half the level of hate she gets. Kunal doesn't speak up when he doesn't like the way things are moving. Pehle, it was because it would create a fight in the house and now, it's because he is chukao-ing all his ehsaans, it seems. I swear, Meenu is so lucky that Kunal is as invested in her dreams as he is, otherwise this facade of a happy family would have fallen.
Re. Throwing words: Both are wrong! That's no way to speak to anyone. Kuhu was wrong for saying all those things to Mishti and so is Kunal.
See, the thing is that even though the words Kunal uses are not as bad but they are the words that would hit right in her nerve because those are the tags she had been trying to get rid of when she initially got married but now that everyone keeps calling her childish/immature/spoilt over and over again, she behaves so. (Eg- KuKu market scene in initial days when Kuhu said, "Mai bachon ki tarah bachpan mein bhi nahi behave karti thi".) She has been trying to get rid of that tag and Kunal knows it so it hurts more when he says those things.
I'm sorry that you've met such boys in your life. I have had the fortune of meeting the whole bunch and mostly good, understanding men, atleast in the last few years. And by those standards, Abir lies somewhere near the average. He has a long way to go to reach the top but I can see why he is seen as an anomaly in the ITV universe, atleast in the lead department because there have been better, more understanding characters. I don't know if you've seen Nisha aur Uske Cousins (it's one of my most favourite shows) but almost all the male characters were on par with Abir, if not better. Right now, the only other show I am watching is Shaadi Mubarak but Sumedh is a pretty good example of what a great and understanding partner looks like.
Re. Divorce - Kunal hasn't had to handle anything. Kuhu has been made to look childish only post 2nd marriage. Uss se pehle Kuhu was handling him. That was the thing KuKu fans were waiting for because ab tak khaali Kuhu hi handle kar rahi thi. Kunal just washes his hands off whenever Kuhu feels insecure. We were all hoping to see him step up after the marriage but corona aa gaya beech mein and then, things completely fell apart with the characters' return.
Isliye sab keh rahe the episode dekh ke phir aap apni arguement rakhiye 
Bold - I am sorry that's fortunately unfortunately is not the case these days, at least the way I am seeing it , no woman is allowed to play her woman card just to save herself , men and women are equally blamed for the wrong doings on the basis of their actions and not on the basis of their gender, infact to put in perspective for you, if kuhu was a guy she was would have been more criticised and hated then she is today as a woman
Undermine - thank you for agreeing , kuhu is a spoilt brat, her actions and her words indicate that so just if once kunal tells her than there is nothing wrong in showcasing a mirror to the wife , the way she behaved , she deserved the word. That's the different thing kunal later felt sorry for it unlike kuhu who never feels sorry for throwing words at mishti.
Bold again - I never mentioned I found such men in my life , have I? I am just saying on the general narrative these days that understanding level of men has reduced ...to put in perspective not just fortunate enough to be around amazing understanding caring and loving men, I have been fortunate to be around women who aren't bitchy , weirdly insecure having criminal mentality , dumb for the most part and extremely gullible to the extent then can throw anyone along with herself under the bus and not realise how pathetic they themselves are before throwing digs at others and never be genuinely sorry for what they have done not to forget repeating the same mistakes again and again.

Very sorry the word is not just childish now, its inhuman and a character with a low mentality , that's what kuhu has been reduced to , I am sorry I know you are an ardent kaveri fan , I have nothing against kaveri but haan that's the truth i hate kuhu and if that makes me unpleasant to you then I am really sorry but it is what it is at least for me and to get on the "hate" word I have waited and given so many chances to her in the show.
